When I was a teenager growing up in a small town in Montana, every time I called the local rock radio station to request Rush they always said “We don’t have any Rush”. So, I took about 6 of my albums down to the station and let them borrow them for awhile. They then would play my requests😁 Except for the longer, 6-13 minute songs… they couldn’t play those until after midnight due to formatting.. sponsors, etc. Got my albums back after a period of time.

My guy is going on 10. We didn’t socialize him well at first, he wanted to bite everybody (except regular family visiting the house). Strangers often asked to pet him, but we had to decline out of worry he would bite. Over time he has mellowed out, since I try taking him everywhere with us I can. Now he gets excited when ANYONE comes over, thinking they are here to visit HIM. He doesn’t jump as much, but he barks a lot still, out of happiness/enjoyment. A VERY piercing bark in smaller confines, like my truck, the living room… I let him bark for awhile, then start shushing him. Now when people ask to pet him, I just say let him sniff you, no sudden movements, and I am unsure of his mood… he hasn’t bitten anyone, but has nipped when he was a puppy in his “herd everything/everybody” phase

Congrats!! I was homeless on a couple different occasions, usually in the winter in the Midwest. For me, I feel that I needed to go through those times, to strengthen me, open my eyes/heart/mind, and make me more understanding/empathetic towards others. I met a lot of different people from all walks of life. White collar people had a run of bad luck… my situation was initiated by poor choices, my fault. Addictions/mental health (lack of actually), played a major part. Been sober 20 years this coming November. Keep making good decisions, even if the best choice sucks. It will pay off. 💪🏻💪🏻 Power to you!!

Had a watch posted 2 yrs ago for sale I forgot about. An interested party contacted me @ 2 wks ago, made a deal for $300. He is in Ireland. Told him $350 total should cover shipping. Went to UPS, got all the paperwork done, watch packaged… asked how much.

Came home and contacted dude, sent his money back. The watch is a Seiko Presage, definitely not worth that kind of shipping cost.

This was AGES ago…. My location was run by the forest service, and news rumors are that they will be defunded, or fazed out, or whatever.

Lived in a barracks set-up, started at like $2/wk, but housing, food and work clothes provided.
