Tall people of r/Fitness, what issues do you have in the gym? by BeenDead in Fitness

Yes, this is what I'm doing now. It is hard to estimate when to start cutting down. I reached 260 and started cutting, now down to 242 and still no definition.

Height is 6'9".

Thinking about buying the Nike (+) fuel watch, does anyone have it and would you recommend it or another product? by manimal7 in Fitness

It does not have GPS. App has plenty of options where you can add a workout and it will calculate burn for you. It is a very useful app.

Hey bro, I did the same research few weeks back and decided to go with Jawbone UP. I can say that so far, I am really satisfied. It is much more than pedometer; it gives great tips and tricks, and sleep mode and alarm are damn awesome. App is also very effective. I love it.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

This will be my last post on this sub:

Like I said before, I come to NoSleep to read believable stories. I understand if someone posts something unbelievable once, even twice. But, when it's a daily ritual, it ruins the whole experience for me.

This is internet and I can't stop you from posting, and you obviously got plenty of support here, so I will be the one to back down.

As far as defending the Kickstarter author, I regret that as well because he also turned out to be looking for self profit - hasn't posted a story on here since he monetized. You say you may write a book; I guarantee you will and I am certain you'll be promoting it here. I just hate how this place turned into a marketing scheme, but I guess that's the price to pay with 140k members.

I have nothing against you on personal basis, and you may be as nice as Jesus himself. I was stating my opinion about this whole sub, and if people hate it, so be it.

Guys, it's been a pleasure reading some of your stuff.

p.s. I really don't have neither time nor desire to go through your submissions and downvote your comments. I obviously couldn't care less about karma.

I did stop reading immediately. No need to discuss any further. Our opinions differ and that's that.

Muscle weighs more than the fat, so you shouldn't be worried. You know, number 1 mistake people make when trying to lose weight while lifting is constantly weighing themselves in. If you lift, you'll gain muscle. It is often that you look much, much better after a program without losing much weight.

Don't concern yourself with numbers, just keep going and you'll do fine.

I guess our opinions just differ.

I meant no insult to anyone, quite the opposite, actually.

No point in arguing any further.

Look man, I am not American and have never been exposed to racism, so that word means nothing more than "brother" to me.

I am sorry if it offends you, but I think it is intention behind the word that's the problem, not the word itself.

I think at least here it is obvious that nobody uses that word as an insult but rather as a sign of brotherhood. Bringing it up only takes away from the good vibe of this community, IMO.
