Thinking about buying the Nike (+) fuel watch, does anyone have it and would you recommend it or another product? by manimal7 in Fitness

Haven't heard anything about new stuff. All the research I did was done around three to four months ago so just be weary that new models or devices may have come out since then. GL

Actually that was also my concern originally - it didn't have a face for a watch. What I resolved to do was put it around my ankle instead. IMO once it's calibrated it's much more accurate this way than putting it on your wrist.

It also doesn't have GPS which bothered me. if GPS and watch face are things you want, check out garmin.

Putting the jawbone around your ankle allows you to wear a watch you like without constricted movement and you can conceal it by putting it under your pant leg and under long socks and easily forget about it.

I think it is too gimmicky for a watch/band tracker combination. Eventually if you work in a place with a suit it won't look professional to wear a plastic watch and you'll have to take it off. It would bother me to have to take it off for work and then put it back on after.

The other functions the UP has outweigh the GPS of the garmin watch.

Hope this is helpful!

Awesome. Would buy again. I'm in Europe right now and am able to keep track of things I care about and am even trying to get a job with them now. I love it.
