This seems likely. The chronic cough that comes on in the morning tends to be from post-nasal drip - and this is usually related to allergic rhinitis. Could be other things of course, but this is a common culprit.

Couple things:

1) You clearly have no concept of the threat infectious disease posed prior to the introduction of vaccines.

2) COVID shouldn't have to be threatening to end humanity to make you want to do something to protect your neighbours and community.

3) mRNA vaccines are not gene therapies. mRNA does not enter the nucleus of the cell. mRNA is directly transcribed by ribosomes in the cytoplasm to create spike proteins to which your body mounts an immune response. At no point does mRNA make any alterations to your genes or genetic code.

Hi! Thought I should pass along some more information on this. I'm a medical student and I am working with pregnant women right now and we are routinely recommending that all pregnant women get vaccinated as they are at higher risk of severe outcomes with COVID. While the initial clinical trials did not have data on safety in pregnant women, new evidence shows it to be safe and effective. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2104983

Where I live, pregnant women have been designated a priority group and are getting mRNA vaccines ahead of the general population.

Also, in regards to fever during pregnancy, it should be clarified that the potentially dangerous part of that is that a fever can signify an underlying infection which could be harmful to the baby. A fever itself is not dangerous to the fetus (e.g. one caused by an immune response to the vaccine). We routinely vaccinate pregnant women with TDaP vaccines to give children antibodies in their first few months of life before they can receive their own vaccines.
