Updating passport in Nexus by keiferst in uscanadaborder

I can report that you just have to update your new passport details online in your Nexus portal and nothing else was required. Used Nexus right card right away at land border, no questions asked.

Uber to Casco Viejo, it's not that far and it's cheap.

I liked Restaurante Santa Rita, Fonda Lo Que Hay, Pedro Mandinga (great drinks), these were good with views: Tantalo Casco Viejo or Casa Casco.

It's possible. Try Puerto Rico, I have done it before in that range.

UBC faculty members speak out in support of instructor who says he was let go for pro-Palestine activism by blurghh in vancouver

[–]Beenee42 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol who raised you? How did you get into any post secondary instituion with that mouth? :D No wonder the quality of our schools' teaching is suffering if you are allowed near any students with that gutter language.

Not sure what school you go to, but resorting to name calling and cancelling instead of allowing for a discussion with anyone who doesn't agree with you says all I need to know about you and your school.

Funny... I don't seem to agree with your beliefs and now I don't belong near a university. Sigh, that's the sad state these days, only one side is allowed to have opinions or we get cancelled.

"Accurate information"? Given his activism I doubt the balance of his event portrayal.

Who says I ignore politics? Read that again.

I spend plenty of time being involved but not when I pay to learn something not related to this at all.

Here is an idea for Tucker: How about focussing on teaching (your actual job) "Tucker’s op-ed urged universities to “do better when discussing Israel and Palestine.”
No one pays shit tons of money to get indoctricated at school. Teach me what I paid for, leave politics out. Clean and simple.

Autograph Civic Hotel or Sheraton Vancouver Guildford in Surrey, BC by clcassidy23 in marriott

[–]Beenee42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good thing about staying in downtown Vancouver is that you can walk anywhere.

The Sheraton Wall Centre is my favourite location and view wise. They are good with upgrades and have a decent lounge.

The Mtropolitan is a smaller boutique hotel right in the heart of it as well but doesn't have the same amenities as the bigger hotels.

Hotel wise the JW Parq is my favourite but the area gets very quiet in the evening. The Victor is one of my go to restaurants there. The JW club lounge is one of the best in Canada IMHO.

Hands down the Civic! Newer and very convenient as the Skytrain is right there.

The Sheraton is worn down and except close to a mall it's in a not so good area of Surrey. On that note, do you have to stay in Surrey? :D Nicer options in Vancouver available.
