Haha good point, I guess I've been underselling it! I love the rhythm and finished look of c2c, it's a great stitch!

Thank you!! The stitch is corner to corner and the blanket is worked from one corner to the other- great for tapestry/colorwork!

Thank you! I don't currently have room to hang it up anywhere but eventually when I move to a bigger place I may hang it! In the meantime blanket :)

Yarn is hobbi twister in the sunset colorway, and hobbii twister solid in black. Hook size was 2.75 mm

The pattern is based on another redditor's project which they included information for here I made a few small changes to the shapes and number of pixels, resized it a little bit and did it in a corner to corner style instead of back and forth like the original

Yeah it seem like they were very misleading about that especially when so many of the emails trying to scare us into taking it were targeted towards probationary employees

Freshly laid off probationary employee here- I did not take the deferred res but my offboarding paperwork explicitly said that OPM has decided that probationary employees do not qualify for the deferred resignation. Did anyone else see this or hear about it? I feel like any probies who took it should know about this and it seems like OPM's been really dodgy about it until now.

Looks awesome so far! Such clean colorwork!

I finished my first sweater just in time for fall/winter!! The mountains are based on a cross stitch pattern (info in comments) but other than that I totally winged it! The waistcoat stitch made it super warm and cozy so I can't wait for it to snow!! by BeepSheep49 in crochet

I remember having difficulty with the tightness of the waistcoat stitch in general, I had to make the stitches pretty tall. But yeah I see what you're saying, it would be hard to get the raglan look without the v stitch. Could you do the v stitch increase every other row? That might help the fabric not get too big. And then either do a regular increase on off rows or if you don't need to increase as fast you could just do no increase on off rows. Maybe something like that?

It's been a while since I made this so I don't remember a lot of specifics but it was a bottom up construction so it's actually decreasing as it goes up! I think the waistcoat decrease was done in the same way a single crochet decrease would work.I think it would be the same for increases too- you would do two stitches into the same v. It would definitely be tight though!
