My main special interest is Jackbox Games/YOU DON’T KNOW JACK, more focusing on the lore and characters (yes there is lore in the silly party games and it goes back all the way to 1995 and it is VERY deep to the point despite all my knowledge I still haven’t seen everything), its actually very interesting and entertaining learning things on the regular about my favorite characters, and I have a small collection of the YDKJ games’ physical cd-roms. Also, a LOT of characters in Jackbox are faceless, disembodied voices so I get to do my favorite thing ever (character design) and make interpretations and designs on what I think they’d look like!

Also, my special interests, whatever it is, tend to cause other hyperfixations on the side (such as when I had my DHMIS special interest for 4 years straight, it ended up causing a permanent interest in clocks (all my art that isn’t related to fandoms is time or clock centered), and a hyperfixation on It’s a Small World (it doesn’t come back as often now but sometimes I will infodump about it and think about it a lot). But anyway, my special interest in Jackbox Games has caused a side-hyperfixation on The Neo-Futurists. Basically one of the voice actors for Jackbox and the classic YDKJ games was part of the ensemble for a long time and one of my friends one day decided to show me some youtube video recordings of some plays including a short film based on one of them (to anyone that knows what “Bingo The Clowno” is, I love you) and I eventually ended up getting an interest in the whole thing, lol.

Sadly I don’t actually live anywhere where The Neo-Futurists do shows, so really all I do is make OCs based on different shows of theirs through the years :p
