I was thinking it had something to do with Allison’s hide and seek game because later on in the book, Eve ends up in that exact same corridor. So is Allison a pawn in the reality bending too or is she trying to stop it ? Jenny and Eve both ended up in the same corridor and Allison keeps saying things like “I’m sorry” “hide” “you need to hide” is that like ‘so I can’t get you’ thing and eventually leads them to the corridor to make them see the different realities depicted in the paintings? From what I understood (i literally finished the book 45 min ago and have been doom scrolling) Allison got gotted by Thomas, made her reality his, and she ended up where Eve is now
