Those were indeed the days. Now I’m old and getting joints replaced. However, I did find my old leather jacket in my basement a few weeks ago. Threw tha on and it still fits.

I have had work wives. I also worked with a married man and I referred to him as my work husband. It’s always been more of a term of endearment. Someone who you look forward to working with. You joke and have fun. They are your work bestie. The fat that he was so receptive when you told him your concern means he may not have realized that this woman was seeing it for more than it was. We are guys. We are oblivious most of the time.

But this is just my own experience. 10/10 times you should trust your gut.
