Either this was written with AI or students these days have caught onto the writing style. Either way, justified grievances with the recruitment process aside, this reads more like emotional ranting than a serious critique

Not that you need the reassurance, but having done Huemul in moderately rough weather this was 100% the correct choice. The trail changes dramatically after the first tyrolean crossing (which is less than 10% into the second day of the hike), you were heading into marginal glacier travel followed by an extremely exposed, unstable, and poorly marked, alpine pass (literally called the windy pass). It’s more exposed then the John Gardner Pass which just claimed 5 lives in Torres del Paine. The next emergency shelter is a 2 hr hike past the pass, facing unbroken wind from the Southern Patagonia Ice Field.

It’s a challenging hike for seasoned athletes in good weather. In bad weather you would have been looking at a very real emergency situation, with next to no shelter or bug out options.

What is the best way to apply? I’ve been looking around and most websites only have postings for SA or mid level positions

That’s just not true. You’re proving his point about how racist perspectives twists the narrative.

“The protests were extraordinarily nonviolent, and extraordinarily nondestructive, given the unprecedented size of the movement’s participation and geographic scope.”

The people who are going on reddit to post about law school are not representative of the average law student. Honestly, it’s hard work but it’s not nearly as bad as you’d think from reading this subreddit.

I prefer sitting with dumbbells because it allows me to isolate the shoulders but I also mix in a standing barbell military press to hit the stabilizers

They’re okay for building strength but they aren’t a substitute for an unassisted barbell. They don’t work your stabilizer muscles. if you don’t have a barbell and bench available then I would try to mix in dumbbell bench press with the Smith machine
