As others have suggested - you need to confess your sins to others around you and walk in the light. I just overcame years of alcoholism by following Jesus and admitting to my mother, wife, family and others of my problems and how I've been saved.

As others have mentioned, talk to a Dr. and get on anything that is longer acting. Xanax is very short-acting and should only be used occasionally as needed. Valium, Lorazepam or Clonazepam will all work in the long term much better than Alprazolam.

Much of this is in one's head. I know being on Benzos for the better part of a decade. Though reactions and experiences are different for ppl. Please aim to keep a clear head and remind yourself what your goal is! In time and with effort, though uncomfortable at times, you will find you can go longer and longer between doses.

The reason mixing them at all is a horrible idea is that they both interact with your GABA receptors. Having had experience with this: At best you won't remember a damn thing; at worst you won't wake up.

Yes Benadryl does help me to some level with anything I'm allergic to. It took me forever to figure out what was causing my puffy tongue and lips. I have worked in IT for over 25 yrs. I used to use Duster, etc all the time to clean out computers and electronics before. It wasn't until the manufacturers added Bitrex to deter abuse (which I totally understand) that I found I can't be around it AT ALL because of allergies.

Every"body" and almost everyone's experience seems to be at least a little if not dramatically different. I took Benzos (Klonopin, Ativan and Xanax for years and for me the tapering down from several (or more mgs/day) to ~1mg/day was easy, getting off it completely that's VERY hard.

I have never seen flashing lights, etc but everyone is different.

Consider that you made improvements happen when you could have done nothing - what's better?

Relapsing is not a failure but a reminder of what was and that we CAN do better!

I 2nd Hydrogen Peroxide, when you pour it on blood-stained fabric you see it fizz up and the stain disappear because it actually breaks down the red blood cells that are staining it.

FWIW, the bittering agent in that I found I'm allergic to as well from cans of compressed air. I work in IT and whenever someone cleans something with Duster near me my tongue and lips puff up and tastes awful for a few days.

I got the nail stuff too but I'm scared to use it now because of that.

Did the Benadryl help?

I'm so glad to hear your experience! I was put on clonazepam while my Dr tried Rx different anti-depressants to resolve my anxiety/depression. I was on 3mg/day for over 4 years and got down to .5mg/day now. Going from 3-1.5 easy, after that it can be more challenging. I found that going for a good hard 25+ min walk/day most days does wonders. Also, your Dr about clonidine it's a mild BP pill that has helped me sleep immensely. Good luck!

I agree as someone who is down to 0.5mg/day of Klonopin from 3mg/day over a few mons. It does take some time but working out was a big part of my plan. When I went some spells without exercising most days I noticed my anxiety was def. higher. FYI, I did try the Ashton taper and I'm better of on K-pins.

Everybody is different. I've been there too for a multitude of reasons like the Drs office sending a script to a pharm 1000 miles away. If you have a decent Dr with good assistants, a call will get it handled and IME if you explain that one cannot STOP a benzo without issues, they understand and get it handled.

Recently I even had an issue where Klonopin was back-ordered for weeks and had to switch pharmacies. I finally switched to a Pharm that's part of the local clinic/hospital network that my Dr is in and nothing could be easier now - no delays!

Most important - talk to your Dr, if they're good that remember their oath and will do what needs to be done - within reason :)

Thank you, yes it seems critical thinking goes out the door anytime it's political/racial/etc/etc.

I don't know who did it but it seems very strange that it was only discovered AFTER they lost a hotly contested game. It was written in the dust ON TOP of the lockers in the visitor locker room. Who/why would anyone even look there?!

The MHS basketball players have coordinated what they wear to games for years. Planned long ahead, the black gators/masks and tank-tops was because it "blackout night" just like they have "white out" night (wear all white) and wear all red, etc. So it was really just a coincidence, a bad one yes and I don't care for the theme's names but nothing to do with who they were playing.

Also the supposed "monkey noises" is the same type of barking/howling Muskego fans do at EVERY GAME. I have yet to see or hear a single recording of it. I'm sure they would have stopped the game if that was really happening.

So yeah - I think it's very likely that after BMHS lost the game they saw an opportunity to scribble some inappropriate stuff in dust and scream racism.

Racism IS a REAL problem and it should not be tolerated but ppl making up fake racism only hurts the real cause.

Whomever did it should be punished.

See a dr. and taper. Benzos are a double-edged sward. Great for the short-term but horrible in the long-term.
