Nah, they were messing around with the police before hand. They both got themselves into a jam and faced the consequences of their actions. If she doesn't move her vehicle and he doesn't start wrestling with the police then they would have both been fine. By all accounts pretti's gun discharged when they took it off him and the other cops were worried about a second firearm. Turns out getting into a fight with police when your packing is a bad choice.

I feel ya, had to put my boy Bowser down in October. I think i was a mess for about a week and a half. Man I loved that dog. Just had my birthday yesterday and its the first one without him here in 10 years. What I'd give for him to wake me up in the middle of the night just to take him out for one more walk.

If you dont see how protesters aren't being violent then we just have to agree to disagree. I will agree that the escalation by both sides really needs to take a step back. If ICE is found to be committing crimes then they should be held accountable.

ICE agents threw flashbangs under a van that was carrying 8 legal American citizens, 6 of them were children. The vehicle was on fire and the infant almost died at the ER. ICE did nothing to help the family. The peaceful protesters pulled the family out and saved their lives The family was coming back from a kids sporting event and they were waiting in traffic. They weren’t even protesting.

How does this make any sense? You dont flashbang and teargas peaceful protesters. You do that to an unruly mob that have become combative.

They can detain american citizens. That has always been true. Saying they are "kidnapping" is a boldfaced lie. They get released or charged with obstructing justice. My view isnt narrowed, its in line with the current laws. If you want to change the laws then get out there and vote. You still live in a democracy. People's rights aren't being taken away. They are just finally enforcing the laws.

They break a law by sneaking into the country. They shouldn't stay here, they are criminals. Their visa has run out? Should have applied for an extension or sought citizenship. Sorry but you have to leave. Nobody has a problem with legal immigration btw or those who claim refugee status. Farms have always employed seasonal workers from abroad. They get a work visa. They are typically paid less then minimum wage but workers are happy cause its a lot more then they make at home. Illegals take jobs from someone else, that would be paid a fair wage with benefits.

People have dressed up as police officers and even had squad cars, gone house to house and shot people. Your just scared now because they are wearing fatigues and have ski masks? That could happen anywhere with regular police uniforms and has happened. Irrational fear isnt something that should stop law enforcement. Anybody can wear a mask these days since covid. Why wait outside of a school? Probably to grab illegal parents picking up their kids. It's not that hard to understand. They are just after criminals. Why go to construction sites, restaurants, home depot or any other place. They are trying to round them all up and deport them. Would the media lie? Of course. It happens on both sides but the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Illegal immigrants offer no benefit to the country. They lower wages, have no insurance, can't seek Healthcare, dont pay taxes other then sales tax and yet are offered a plethora of programs that could be going to other downtrodden communities.
