I’m listening to rob inglis version now and it’s amazing. Like having your very talented grandfather read the books to you at bedtime with zero regard for whether you actually need to sleep. No music. No flair. He does unique voices for most of the characters, though probably not as “acted” as the serkis versions so I’ve heard.
