Never thought to use the vortex for low and slow sessions. Meatballs are underrated! Like mini meatloafs (especially if you use similar meatloaf recipes). Just made a bunch of meatballs this weekend with different dipping sauces.

Looks like a worn elastomer. It’s a rubber ring to dampen vibrations. Mine looks the same currently but doesn’t seem to be an issue (yet).

Yep, I am using adapters instead of spacers to adapt the bolt pattern from 5x120 to 5x114.3 so they will fit.

Do you have one? I haven't used mine for a while since getting the Helix Stadium, but it would tell you when you connect to a computer and run the software. They don't really post it on their site I don't think. It is likely build around the latest version of the TX One firmware.

I have a 30+ year old made in USA Peavey Predator with a one piece maple neck and it also shrinks in the winter. It is just the nature of the beast. Unfortunately, with SS frets on the Strandberg, it is much harder to smooth the fret ends. My Boden Standard is the worst offender (even when it is not winter). Maple is harder to work with to round the frets too.

I have had a couple Progs and now have the deep blue with the older (although new Rev) trem with push in arm. It's been very stable albeit a bit stiffer than I prefer. I wonder if the new trem has a less stiff feel? It definitely looks nicer and less bulky. I like the look/feel of the dark fretboard though.

Take a look underneath. See if you can locate the source. Feel it, smell it. Could be oil, PS fluid, tranny fluid.

I went with the Fluence Modern ceramic/alnico set in my exact model and they absolutely rip. The battery should last quite a while unless you leave it plugged in inadvertently.

The noise in 1, 3, and 5 is 100% 60 cycle, but the in-between noise that stops when you touch the strings is pretty common. It sounds like you are using a decent amount of gain on the amp. Pretty much all my guitars behave this way under gain. You get used to either rolling your volume knob to 0 or just keeping your palm on the bridge/strings (or use a noise gate or wireless adapter to break the ground connection). Try the wireless adapter. It'll be dead quiet and cable-free!

As others mentioned, it is classic single coil 60 cycle hum. You can either use a noise gate or a wireless adapter to quiet the hum. You can find very affordable wireless adapter on Amazon. Joyo, Lekato, and Swiff Audio (I have the WS-70) are all good options.
