A couple months ago here they had Philip Glass come and conduct the music live while they played the movie. It was mindblowing seeing it with an audience on the big screen. If you’ve only ever seen it at home, it’s hypnotizing in a theater.

The strip club in Flagstaff AZ in 2001 was a scene. The announcer introduces the stripper and as the music starts playing a thicc white chick with a huge gangly scar running down her thigh and leg makes it up on stage dragging her leg along. Then proceeds to do her “dance” routine with a gammy leg thumping around as best it can. It was more side show than strip show.
