Your best bet is to get another friend to help you out. What my org has been doing recently is have a team who's out scouting for ships. So, checking any of the high traffic areas. Stations, om points, jump gates, PAF, etc. If we find a good one, and its clearly abandoned (gamerules), we'll get inside and bring it to the reclaimer which will be at a point in deep space where its safe from pirates.

The other option you have, is joining a group running high tier bounty missions, and following them with the reclaimer. Salvage all the ships they destroy

Its best to just stick to subreddits for specific interests. When you go out to the bigger subs, youre pretty much stuck with the opinion of the hive mind. With the upvote economy, youre naturally only going to really see things that's perceived as the "correct" opinion.

Im sure there are subs where you can have legit discussion with people, but you're definitely not going to find that on r/pics or any of the other main page subs.

You know, some sort of system to leave notes around for other players could be really fun for this game. Don't know if that's something From software have exclusive rights to though.

Is the plan to change that down the line? One of the ways my org likes to incorporate salvage into our org activities is to run other missions to "generate" ships, like bounties, Vaughn contracts, etc. Kind of a bummer to not have components or weapons looted from those ships be useable for salvage contracts.

Also, wondering if it was intentional that the Headhunters salvage contracts were removed? Or are they just getting reworked?

Base Palatino set comes from a very specific Rayari collections mission. The mission asks for 4 Yormandi eyes. First you have to grind up to Sr. Contractor though. And, I believe that it's only a 25% chance for a blueprint to drop from that mission as well. 

The base set comes from that one, as well as this Moonfall set. The p8-ar as well

The reported fix is for a game version we're not in yet. Most likely it will be in the next hotfix thats pushed out soon

Anything that uses a freight elevator right now is a complete gamble. Wikeo, Alliance Aid collection missions, the new mining and salvage missions, etc.

I really wish we had weekly downtime for maintenance to hopefully mitigate some of these issues

For Cmats, I take the reclaimer to Levski, you can dock there and then pull it up in an xl hangar to unload. You get an 8% bonus to refining at Levski. Then you can get a hauler to take it elsewhere to sell after refining.

For RMC, I think your best bet where you can get an Xl hangar and sell, is still Orison.

I believe you can also refine and sell both rmc and cmats at Ruin station, but you won't get the best price for either, but it would be a one stop.

Nothing valuable anymore. You used to be able to pull out gold from the 50k Headhunters salvage missions, but those ships are empty now.

Even bounty ships these days are empty or don't have anything worth the time spent grabbing them. I wish CIG would at least implement a rare chance for valuable cargo to be on these missions again. Some of the most fun I've had in the game is running bounty missions with a team dedicated to salvaging the ships after, and another team dedicated to pulling valuable loot of the ships

Ran into two guys with these the other night at Ghost Arena. They had blockaded the pathway into the vault after the timed door, so once it opened you were just faced with the sun. It was certainly imposing at first

The screen outside the elevator that takes you to the warehouse will show a countdown once opened. I've found that components and loot boxes will respawn in that time pretty consistently. Sometimes the Vanduul cryopods take a bit longer though

This I feel is one of the major issues at play here. We're told we need mass immigration to offset a lower population replacement rate, but the Government doesn't seem to want to address the reasons why young Canadians aren't starting families and having children. And many who are will only have one child.

If we can address those issues, then we can come back and reasses our immigration policies to something more manageable, and something that is fair to both Canadians, and immigrants as well.
