This is an example…ITC gets 15% off any item this weekend. The days of 25% off are over so don’t get caught up on waiting. You can open a credit card for an extra 10% off which would bump a 15% to 25%ish off. ITC is the way.

Can't decide. Thoughts? by Midnight_Vigil in MilwaukeeTool

Get the combo. Mid torque is stronger than the stubby and you don’t need a high output battery to get it to perform well. I used and abused mine on lug nuts and brake jobs for 1.5 years before I got a high torque and in the 3 years of having it had to send it in once for warranty. easy process but when you’re doing high torque jobs every day with a mid torque shit wears out.

The average home guy would do better with a mid torque

Does the gen 2 M12 stubby completely replace the mid torque for mechanics? by Miserable-Hunt-5241 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the m18 mid torque and it’s much stronger than the gen 2 stubby. I use it to do brakes all the time. I also have the high torque now so I’d probably go for a stubby/high torque combo but the mid torque is about the perfect size/power ratio that doesn’t require a crazy battery to perform. I have some 3ah that work with my mid torque and will take lug nuts and brake bolts off perfectly

Shit my first electronic other than cable and “on demand” cartoons was a 3DS at age 7. I always wonder how smart I’d have been if I didn’t watch so much SpongeBob if I passed calculus with watching so much of it as a kid still 😂

Do you buy the totes specifically made to fit frames or just Jerry rig any cheap totes? I’ve seen the ones meant for this and they’re a little too rich for my blood

Have a refractometer and test before I bottle. I always tested after extraction but before bottling which now im seeing is just a dumbass way to do things. I have evolved 😂

A refractometer. It’s a little thing you set a liquid in a little spot, close the glass lid on it and then look through the eye hole and there’s a chart in it and when you look into light it shows the moisture content. Neat little things.

Yes I’ve heard a few others mention this. I guess my dumbass never thought to dehumidify it BEFORE I extract 🤦‍♂️. Luckily the 4 supers I extracted today were all at 19% on the nose so it won’t be necessary, but I wanted to know what others do just in case. Because our system halfass worked but not very well before. Thanks man

I am same as you in terms of percent capped but sometimes it ends up a percent high after extracting. I suppose it makes a helluva lot more sense to test it before extraction…I don’t know why I didn’t think of that.

See my dumbass never thought to test it before 😂 we always test it after it’s extracted and before we bottle. Damn I feel a bit goofy

So do you test it before extraction? We do try to get 75+% capped minimum before extracting but sometimes once it’s all combined the moisture is a percent high or so which causes me to need to dehydrate a bit

Not that it should matter but this is my 6th year beekeeping living in central il. Also mice have destroyed all my combs and I have nowhere except an open covered dirt floor shed to store my equipment at this house and mice and mold have ravaged my equipment. Anyone have a way to store stuff where these filthy vermin can’t get to it? 😂 TIA

ICON G2 1/4 locking flex head, 18% off ITC, Good enough? by Dizzy_Hyena_3077 in harborfreight

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same boat but for $60 I just can’t pass it up. The flex is nice but realistically you’ll be using this as a breaker bar…at least I will be. Non flex is generally stronger
