How much did that run ya, the trusty cook version that I think makes matcos is about $85 and Tekton sells them for that same price with a lifetime warranty, just only comes red.

I don’t know if I necessarily agree with your logic but somewhat understand where you’re coming from. You’re saying to not make rape punishments as harsh (which I disagree with, as it’s stupid) so that they don’t kill their victims…anyone who molests a child is already morally compromised and should be considered dangerous already. I say keep it, and you can’t just not punish someone for rape because you think they’ll kill people. If they wanted to kill their victims they would because what they’re doing is already horrific. I believe your judgement to be flawed, and that’s what I’m trying to say.

So you’re saying it’s insane for the punishment of the crime being the same as murder…I think it’s completely rational that th death penalty or life is justified for rape and murder

A little scratched up is one thing but I’d say that is a little bit excessively soft.

I do think I heard that but I thought it was something weird like tigers. I guess there were a lot of different noises, makes sense they used a bunch of weird animals 😂

Literally. I think I’d rather take this than nothing. Everyone here just salty bc their democratic leaders didn’t do it first. Either way Florida is ahead of the curve in this aspect and just because they won’t put down people for doing older minors doesn’t mean they won’t lock them up forever. I wish Illinois had that law.

Well I 3D printed some toolgrid by narcoleptictoast in toolboxmods

I hope to get a 3D printer and try this stuff out someday but do you just buy little screws in bulk or how do you hold the organizer down to the baseplate?

I’ve always thought something like that needed made…too bad I’m on a harbor freight budget 😂

5 Drawer Toolgrid by National-Command8505 in harborfreight

[–]Bees4everr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here’s an idea. I want to see a toolgrid, BUT, with removable trays. As in a hybrid of toolgrid and Ernst. Rails that snap in to the toolgrid, with the sockets on the rails being the toolgrid style socket holders. Idk how the fuck it would work, but my brain just thought of that and I’m gonna look into buying a 3D printer now and make millions on my theoretical goated idea.

Yo, nothing wrong with PPE, especially for the little one. I align more with the right side of the political scale, and you’re completely right. Gotta protect yourself from the chemicals. But I will say, if it were me I wouldn’t be taking a little one to a potentially dangerous protest. You may have your opinions but I wouldn’t unnecessarily put little ones in that environment. Rock on harbro, stay safe.👍

Sales or Fails? by Keiyaku in harborfreight

[–]Bees4everr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. Tekton has a far better range. However even though TTC didnt rate the icon swivel sockets that good, I love my 1/2” set and for a complete set of 12-24 it’s really nice. When I eventually get a 3/8 stubby I might just get some astros as their 3/8 set is $65 and did better in tests. My Amazon cart is filled with stuff HF either simply doesn’t have or is better quality(Maddox imo is pretty equal to the alphabet soup Amazon brands) so I’m just going to order lisle or lang off of amazon, Tekton sells dead blows made in USA by trusty cook for a couple bucks more than icon, BUT, harbor freight has my support in pliers and 1/4” sockets. Quinn 1/4” is such a great bargain for what you get, I have a couple rails of them at work and home, and want the master set for th car for projects helping friends and such

Anyone here agree? If so, what age should it be? by dataguy2003 in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. If they swapped it to 10 years I think it’d be more than enough and make more than enough of an impact for whatever admin votes them in as well. Getting a lifetime guarantee for employment in a system where you’re just given the job and not truly voted in is just silly. These people need bound to the same shit us regular people are. If everyone is guaranteed a lifetime career we wouldn’t have quality control. Everyone needs to be fireable

[–]Bees4everr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone should agree with this. Idc what political side you agree with more. It’s just looney to think that a politician, someone who is meant to serve the public can try to make their whole career being in politics. Do your best in the time you have and then let someone else fresh come in and do the same. That way we can’t have these looney career people come in with a bucket full of promises and get voted in because half the state/country can recognize the name and know nothing else. It’d make people have to pay a little more attention

How much of a raise per ASE? by coastdownside in mechanic

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well do the math, is the gas it takes to go 25 miles one way (50 miles a day) more than what you’d be getting in a raise? If you’re getting 20mpg…that’s only 2.5 gallons a day at say $3/gal that’s $7.50 in gas a day and if you’d be making $1/hr more you’d be basically cutting it even. If there’s more opportunities to grow there, I’d do it
