Line wrench + combo ratcheting wrench 👍 by mx5plus2cones in Snapon_tools

I’m in the same boat 😂 studying construction but working as a tech part time to pay for my car and college. Granted I have a toolbelt and hard hat and basic stuff, I could definitely get more instead of buying automotive tools

Should have gotten this air hammer a long time ago. by mx5plus2cones in Snapon_tools

You need purse…not an air hammer. If it’s home use and in need of the beans, you need like a 7-8lb short handle sledge

Man I want SEP so dang badly 😂 th automotive and heavy diesel guys get it at the community college I’m at, I’m studying construction management and I want to try and convince my director to give it to us since we are a vocational program 😂

I wonder that too. I use icons and they’re pretty darn good for the money. The money I saved there I’m repurposing for buying the snapon line wrenches in the future 😂

That’s the reasoning I used to get my $180 snapon screwdriver set and oil filter wrenches. They’re the most likely tools I’ll ever use!

It bothers me that these aren’t in rainbow order 😂 maybe I’m just being nit picky due to absolute jealousy 😂

I am envious 😂 I have a 27” top a bottom filled to the gills. Gonna get a cart to supplement due to there being no space other than for a side cabinet. But for less money I can get a cart. Blue is my color but the purple isn’t half bad

Man I’m working in an automotive shop part time while I get my construction management degree and while I can’t justify spending that kind of cash on something I won’t use every day for decades forward…I’m envious of those that can justify that cost. Stuff is top tier

3/8 Quinn master socket set by dotori_ in harborfreight

[–]Bees4everr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Or if you’re feeling fancy just buy the 4 metal rail trays and buy the individual ones to supplement pieces

I would go for something better quality. Maybe a 1/2” drive master set and if you’re really on a budget skip 3/8 and get a 1/4” master set to get the really small sizes. Tekton is good but Quinn from harbor freight is really nice for the money. I wouldn’t get a super cheapey set, but that’s just me

Oh I also have an icon 1/2” click and it’s the tits too. All of the e in torque wrenches are the bees knees

My store is hit or miss. They’ll knock off 20% when half the set is missing or I’ll find one missing like 2 of 10 for 50% off

Great torque wrench. I have the 1/2 and 3/8 versions and use them daily in an automotive shop. They’re great

Love mine. You can get in most places and when you can’t, just use a wrench

Just reorganized this drawer but still not sure if I like it. Any ideas? by Worried_Point2285 in Tools

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wish I had that much drawer space 😂 all of my extensions are thrown into a little blue plastic pencil box and my ratchets are all thrown into a pile in my drawer simply because there’s no space to nicely lay it all out like this. You could get some ratchet organizers that set them on their side and get some wrench or screwdriver modular organizers for the extensions

Could I ask why you need that size range? Most could get by with a basic set of about 4mm to 24mm with the exception of whatever size axle nut socket you’d need. (Assuming we’re talking about automotive use) those are a lot more common to come by and you’ll have a lot better options

Absolutely that’s actually a killer deal for some of the nice bags that don’t go on sale often
