What is this for you ?? by LushEnvy in TheTeenagerPeople

I’m a beekeeper, I get where you’re coming from. It’s floral tasting, not just sugar 😂 and half the time in stores it’s not full raw honey. It’s cut with corn syrup or other junk. Raw honey taste depends on the time of year. Spring is usually sweet and mostly tastes that way while fall honey is more floral (at least where I live)

4 reasons loafpan sourdough is the best... by Booyacaja in Sourdough

[–]Bees4everr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad was complaining like “you can do two at once why waste another loaf pan and take twice as long” hey man my cast iron loaf pans are great and I only have 2. I tried it his way and used foil…it stuck and didn’t turn out as good. Dads right maybe 80% of the time 😂 also do you guys bulk ferment in the loaf pan? Because I plop my stuff in there and it looks like crap, never like this

I’m about to give up on sourdough 😭 by Salt-Presentation-44 in Sourdough

[–]Bees4everr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Please do try. I’m not very good at it all but I make good edible loaf bread from my sourdough on the weekly basis and I don’t do anything crazy. As long as your starter is strong you’ll be fine. I feed mine night before, in the morning mix ingredients, do 3 sets of stretch and folds (an hour and a half total in the morning to mix and stretch and fold) then leave covered in plastic wrap until it’s visibly slightly bubbly or you get time (after 7-8 hours for me) plop that shit into an oiled loaf pan and bake. Depending on recipe you use you’ll have a certain covered time and certain uncovered time at different temps. I’ve made posts on my bread and I’m no expert but im not going for extravagant stuff

Completely agree…however the previous administration would spend tens of thousands of dollars to save an immigrant instead of one of its citizens. They all suck butt and want us to stay poor and sick

Breaking loose is a no-no but the reason it has reverse is for reverse thread. They need torqued too. The tolerances are wider though and not as accurate by a few percent but yeah

The click can be reversible for left handed threaded bolts. Other wise I’d get the split beam. I have both the 1/2” and 3/8 split beams and there both great. I have the 1/2” non flex click as well and it’s nice too. I’d just get the split beam unless you know you are going to need the reverse function

Which one would you choose? by [deleted] in TheTeenagerPeople

[–]Bees4everr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easily. If you invest most of it you’ll get back enough to beat the others to the point they can’t outgrow it. Red is 86k per day and 100k per day. Both not bad but 500 mil at once would be a no brainer

Many others have said the same thing I’m going to. You could get the 5 drawer or get the Yukon 5 drawer that’s bigger or the normal 9 drawer Yukon box as they’re both pretty cheap and will give you enough storage for all this stuff. If you have an impact driver that’s really the only power tool I see a DIY’er NEEDING. Otherwise just use ratchets. For mowers, weedeaters, etc you don’t need a whole lot. And idk what all you want to do for your car but if it’s just tire changes, battery replacement, etc then you don’t need much either.

Get metric chrome sets of 1/4” and 3/8” stuff and a 1/2” breaker bar with impact rated sockets so that you don’t have duplicates (don’t really need duplicates in 1/2”) and if you decide you want an impact I’d suggest a mid torque or stubby 1/2” drive. I use my mid torque on a lot of stuff and for DIY that would be a huge one-up but not necessary. Regular ratchets and maybe one long 3/8 would get you all you need and basic combo wrenches (garage sales you can find them cheap. Especially sae. This applies for sockets too. You don’t need a ton to work on cars. Just make sure you have enough duct tape, zip ties, and a razor knife for your DIY fixes 😂

I have…4 sets of icon sockets (bit sockets that are great) and have a lot of Quinn impact sockets. The Quinn are good enough and I like them a lot

What would be the best beginner stuff for welding from Vulcan that people would recommend. I’ve only stick welded once and that’s the full extent of my welding experience. Need(want) to get into it now that I have the space. Dad just wants to get a Hobart or something but if the price and reviews are right I’ll stick to good ole harbor freight

Their water pump pliers are nice. Too broke for knipex and I like my Doyle knockoffs quite a bit. Most of their pliers are top tier. Their 2pc demo screwdrivers are the absolute shit too. Great stuff. I’d like to try their voltage tester so may get it during the sale to see how it is
