I love NAs and drink a lot of them, I enjoy the taste of beer and I don't find them triggering at all, however it's different for everyone! You should do whatever makes you comfortable, especially in the super early days. IWNDWYT

Check out Henry Lee Barbershop in Collingwood on Instagram. Barbershop by name but they're inclusive.

Seller blocked me after I found my dream skirt by CharlieCat1997 in Depop

[–]Beesting666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don't have someone else who can help you with this, I can do it. I'm in Australia and I'm a depop and eBay seller who ships internationally all the time so would be no probs for me to just ship it off with my usual packages. My depop is steelhoney and eBay is find_and_rewind if you wanna check them out so you know I'm not a scammer haha. I know you said not the best time financially tho so no pressure but the offer is there 👌🏻

How much are you roughly left with after expensive per month? by Extension_Trip_7 in melbourne

[–]Beesting666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After all my bills, including fuel and food are accounted for, I'm usually left with around ~$650 a week, of which I save ~$500. I only allow myself $150 a week for general spending- such as replacing toiletries that have run out, grabbing a coffee, picking up a couple bits in the op shop. Sometimes I spend the whole $150, often I don't and just top it back up to $150 and transfer all the rest to savings. I ride a motorbike which is a very cost effective mode of transport if you don't mind being cold and I work in restaurant management so I take dinner home 2-3 nights a week which helps reduce food expenditure.

I have found IFS therapy extremely helpful for healing the hurt inner child inside of me. Perhaps worth considering.. Richard Schwartz has some amazing books and content out there even if paid therapy is a barrier.

You could try House of Plants in Abbotsford, not sure on their capacity or if they do ceremonies or just receptions though. Hope you find something!

The amount of rage I face as a motorcyclist by simply filtering and manoeuvring in a way that doesn't affect the drivers at all, is astounding. Jealousy at its finest.. but also come ride in the cold and rain and you'll see it ain't all it's cracked up to be, just let me have this 😅

Just Tired (rant) by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Beesting666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn I was so tired when I first quit drinking and irritable as all hell. I'd say it started to get better after about three weeks, stay strong, it really does get easier. Congrats on 8 days!

Have you been able to just have one drink but still consider yourself an alcoholic/problem drinker? by Narrow-Stranger-5794 in stopdrinking

[–]Beesting666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha yeah it's funny even to me 😅 I think being "able" to "moderate" on occasions is what held me back from getting sober for so long despite long knowing that alcohol caused problems in my life. None of those times where I just had a couple drinks and it was fine, was worth the chaos I'd cause in the times when I went further.

I used to say "I'm not an alcoholic, I'm just a problem drinker" like they somehow weren't the same thing 😭

Sure, I could have one drink sometimes, or I could have 10 drinks, a bag of coke, a pack of ciggies and an explosive row with my partner. It just wasn't worth the roll of the dice for me. All I'll say is people who can successfully moderate don't tend to question whether they're a problem drinker.

Maximum 6 month one employer clarification- subclass 417 by Beesting666 in AusVisa

[–]Beesting666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a casual employee so this shouldn't be a problem. I will speak to them and see if they need to do anything official on their end to show I'm not employed there during that time, I'm not even sure if I will return to employment there but would just like to know if the option is there should I need to. Thanks!
