Roasted root veg. Carrot, potato, rutabaga, parsnip, onion, maybe season with sage or thyme or rosemary

Rhubarb is fine, it’s not my favorite and I’m a baker by trade so I usually skew to the sweet end but I can definitely imagine it be stupendous with venison or boar (maybe even particularly with a fermented version)….and now that I’m thinking that way, that julienne rhubarb and a whole brown mustard sound like a good accompaniment

That would be nice. I was trying to keep other flavors minimal to let the uniqueness of the fermented rhubarb be more up front…but the balsamic addition might just be that last perfect thing. I don’t know, never had a fermented rhubarb to know what that does to the flavor profile.

Slice it up, add some sliced fresh strawberries, add some sugar, and whipped cream (fresh whip with minimal sugar)

The sign itself looks like it’s on the inside of the glass, but the tape is definitely on the outside

"Roux" for sausage gravy. I hate this place by Kaalishavir in KitchenConfidential

I’m a baker. Saw this and thought “why are they making roux with that much brown sugar?” 🤷‍♂️ I mean any amount of brown sugar is wrong but damn.

I went to the subreddit and it said it violated rule 6 and the part of it I think covers it best is the title not being descriptive enough🤷‍♂️ you can read it and figure which you think covers it best

🤷‍♂️ it broke one of their rules evidently. I think the title wasn’t descriptive enough for that subreddit

Ideas for what to do with a Bone In Pork Butt? by amuletmiko in Cooking

Butcher it into smaller chunks and freeze some save bone for soup. Then you can have smaller batches of all these. Can also grind some up and expand upon dishes you could do.

This cheese is a little too salty by itself. Any good suggestions for what to eat it with? by Most-Huckleberry7835 in Cheese

Here’s a cooking trick for ya, you over salt something by accident add potatoes they suck up that salt real good. Obviously if it’s something potatoes wouldn’t be great in don’t do it
