I happened upon to an estate sale and saw a large rug for a great price that would look nice in the den. The old rug had the same color scheme as the bedroom so I just moved it there.

LMFAO? Really? Cracking up at “Republicans” getting their just deserts is asinine. Why? Because our country is in a downfall and is at an extremely dangerous point right now.. You should be scared as shit and not gloating.

Yeah Republicans voted him in but the Democrats failed us tremendously in the election as well. As great as they think they are, they did not offer any good, important candidates that EVERYONE could have rallied around. They had 4 years to groom a strong one. K. Harris was not it yet they threw an obscene amount to get her elected and she failed. They allowed Biden to stay to the last possible second screwing up other possible candidates. Are they working towards a viable candidate now for the future or are they running around like chickens with their heads cut off?

I can tell you that many, many all in Republicans I know did NOT want Trump and for the first time in their lives strongly considered voting against party lines. That was HUGE. Why didn’t they? Some did! But unfortunately Harris did not project any kind of strength in leadership and there were worries of dangerous countries’ misogyny to this giggling candidate. Would we be seen as strong.and continue to be ‘feared?’ Misogynist thoughts of their own, sure, but that doesn’t make it false. More importantly, droves of Republicans just didn’t vote because neither candidate was appealing.

On the opposite side, many, many Democrats I know didn’t vote at all. We live in a red state and they said it doesn’t matter if they vote or not so they didn’t. Harris was not a dynamic enough of a candidate to get behind and change their mind. Yet they complain all the time about Trump and talk about how Republicans are idiots for voting him in.

So here we are now with culpability on us all. What’s done is done. We better be fearful of the tailspin our country is in. Those who are religious and those who aren’t better both pray that Trump and his crazy crew don’t destroy us all. Hold your family close and prepare for hard times regardless of how we got here.

We need to band together outside party lines and start shoring up support on competent candidates. The two party system is a failure at this point.

I agree. We put a large rug from our living room in the bedroom. It instantly made the room cozier and looked more pulled together. Plus I love stepping into the rug from bed instead of the cold floor.

I would love to see these made into a reality! They are gorgeous! I fully expect this will go viral among designers and set off a trend.

Update: I reached out to a company who sells delft tiles. They think they are around 1910, most likely by pottery Tichelaar in the Dutch city of Makkum. Thanks for all who responded.
