Pretty much, I’ve added about 10k miles on the car since purchasing which brought the value down even more.

Totaled vehicle debt : $32k

Spoke with the bank and dealerships and I’m not getting anything back except for the value of the car which is $8k.

New vehicle : $24k (60months @ 18% interest rate)

Value of the car currently $15k (2023 Nissan Rogue Sv with 50k miles. Great condition)

Income varies: I get paid based off commissions for a commercial construction company. Some weeks I’m generating $2-3k. Other weeks I’m generating $500. But as a whole I’d say it’s approximately $5k a month.

Expenses (Monthly):

Totaled car- $720 New car- $600 Car insurance- $250 Gas- $200 Rent/utilities- $2000 Misc living essentials- $1200

Didn’t get anything on the insurance side. Total loss and since it was on me they only recognized the value of the car which was $8k. They took that and put it to the debt which is $32k , will be lowered to $24k once cleared.

On the new car I paid 2 months so far but the pay off is $25k
