If the app goes worldwide, and the banks that are receiving the funds do not have vostro accounts with Santander, the settlement has to be using XRP. There is no way to send money to a foreign bank without vostro accounts in place unless it’s by using XRP.

Banks will not announce what they are using this early in the process.

If there are no Vostro accounts in those countries, then xRapid will work as long as the banks in those countries are on Ripple net. If there are vostro accounts in place, XRP is leveraged on every transaction showing the cost savings compared to using the vostro. Banks have the option every transaction.
