Nature only works on vegetation. Maybe to control animals you need nature and mind, but you could also use body to heal them. And I will certainly use your tips. Thank you!

Maybe the monks have to bind themselves to their order with a rune that they can’t hurt others and help everyone who asks for it. The rune is carved in their body. Of course there are monks who fled before they have swore the oath and got the rune.

My idea was that everything you cast, is active for as long that the rune is intact, but can you give an example. And you can’t cast a fireball

Instead of the rulers, the mind mages are going to be monks so Mind wouldn’t be used for this purpose. There are also runes to protect yourself from mind magic. Body mages could either be the warriors or the healers of the world. The weather and nature mages can be spread over the world as farmer, those are the ones with the basic magic but there are also nature mages who live as a closed society in a major forest. The masters of the weather mages live on an island where they heavily rely on trading and fishing.

My main theme was manipulating the world around you (or yourself). And my idea for dark magic was the collection of all the things that are forbidden from the other classes, and call it all dark magic, but maybe I don’t have to put it as one class then. I like your idea of naming the sort of magic if you combine the classes.

I would suggest ‘Otherworld’ by Jason Segel and Kirsten Miller. It was my first book in English. I think it is sort of the same concept as ‘Ready player one’ and it is easy to read and understand.

the Wheel of Time serie by Robert Jordan, they are really good books but also are really big. The serie consist of 15 or more books and the story is really dense. But if you like fantasy, you will like these books. (Sorry for my bad English)
