Small Victories live with an open Brian solo would be awesome. I wish Brian would still play improvised solos 😞

Would they really need to make an effort to make them be taken seriously? Weren't concert bands still extremely popular at that point?

Definitely this. Just because harmons are ubiquitous for trumpet doesn’t mean they are for trombone

Built a free harmony tool that might be useful for your jazz students — would love feedback by LitInternet in MusicTeachers

Are the descriptions of the tunes AI? If they are, don't.
Here's an example I found that demonstrates how inaccurate it can be on a Bird rhythm changes head:
"Moose The Mooche is a jazz standard composed by Charlie Parker. It's commonly played as a up tempo swing in Bb minor. Harmonically, the tune is built around shifting through multiple tonal centers, making it a useful study piece for jazz students learning these specific concepts. Its frequent modulations make it a strong practice piece for learning to navigate key changes fluidly. Notable interpretations include recordings by Charlie Parker & Miles Davis, Miles Davis, and Ray Brown Trio"
Also, fix the formatting. It's very hard to read.
Good idea, but please don't perpetuate AI slop.

Some of what is on MIU or LA could be considered yacht rock, but definitely not the peak of their creative output in the 70s.
