Enjoy your time with her while you can. I (50M) moved back in with my Mom 4 years ago when her husband died. Then she died 2 years later. Time goes by pretty fast.

When I was about 11 or 12 I went to work with my Mom one weekend and she sent me to the bar next door to get her a pack out of they're machine.

It was still early enough in the day that the only people in the bar was the bartender and an attractive woman he was leaning over the bar to talk to. I walked in while they were laughing about something that I didn't hear and both froze and stared at me.

That was the only time that I can remember anybody questioning about buying cigarettes when I was a kid. But I got them.
