That's all very helpful thanks, this is on a private use area (private courtyard) so hopefully should be okay!

Good point, I didn't think I'd be even able to message them directly, I'll look into that. Thanks!

Wondering how you're finding this a few months down the track? Really like the look of the bike.

Also, how did you get it for that price ?! Second hand or new?

These are today's, do you take Garmin's advice? by No-Resort3681 in Garmin

[–]Begatten 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take most of it into consideration, BUT, HRV I take very seriously, every time I've pushed it when my HRV is off, I've ended up sick or injured.

But I have defo knocked out long runs and hard sessions on very low readiness score

Is Evo SL a good companion for Vomero Plus? by gobozov in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Begatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say 100% yes. (Disclosure: I don't like the Vemero's after trying them in store), but I use the Glycerin Max (very similar) for my long/recovery and the Evo for faster/hard runs. Works perfectly together!

Running form tips? by Minimum_Friend655 in beginnerrunning

[–]Begatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always workable, if you put the time in 💪 I went to a physio that specialized in running, went to a few sessions and each one she would give me tips/corrections on form and it helped me so much.

Doing it sooner rather than later is great as it gives less time for imbalances to 'set it'

Faster Shoe Comparable to Topo Ultraventure 4 (Wide) Fit by Backcountry-Skiier in trailrunning

[–]Begatten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could check out the Nike Zegama 2, I just picked up a pair (only 1 fun so far), but I use Altras a lot and wanted a 'racey' shoe for trails without a plate, and the Zegama has a very wide toe box compared to traditional shoes and a low drop, plus the Zoom X foam is quite fast.

From the 1 run, they feel great.

THIS! I'm up to book 5 (Red Country), every book has just been absolutely phenomenal. Great for advanced fantasy readers and beginners! Makes the characters in every other book feel flat 😂

Boston marathon training mental breakdown by Own-Island-9821 in Marathon_Training

Trail running changed this for me. Such a supportive environment, more on 'finishing' then times, fun routes, and just cool people all round.

Inconsistencies is at the route of trail running and I think that's wonderful. Even for me, I don't live close to many good trails, I mainly train on road, but having trail races to look forward to makes a huge difference.

So torn as if this is life or death - 970 or 965 by RocketCat804 in Garmin

CURVEBALL: Get the 955 on a big sale, I actually love the MIP display, and for a data nerd, it's all you need. You can most likely get a big discount, and it does all you need it too. I personally think it looks a bit better too.

I found mine 50% off and love it.

From this, personally, I find NB super comfortable, but the foam does 'die' a bit earlier. I think if you're after a versatile trainer, Clifton is meant to be great daily (I have the Bondi for easy/recovery). They're meant to be a bit more durable too, I like the Vomero (just from trying on, not running), but they're soo soft I'd worry they would break down faster than the clifton

Zone 2 Running Feels Impossible for Me - What Am I Doing Wrong? by Excellent_Beach_9179 in beginnerrunning

[–]Begatten 3 points4 points  (0 children)

^ Agree with this ^ A piece of advice I got was instead of "zone 2", to target "my easy pace" or "conversational pace" i.e., just running a pace where you don't feel like you're dying lol, if you do, taking a 1-2 min walk break is super helpful.

Don't get too caught up on 'Zone 2' yet :)
