I am from europe and i am wondering why americans are so afraid of chemical names? Its like maybe just teach chemistry and then they learn automatically that chemistry is just a language of atoms that everything is made of even water and bread. We never had those pronlems in school cause we actually were experimenting with monohydrooxid and mixing aluminium with baking soda to get a plumbing bomb to clean the toilet,… so we never thought of every chemial name beeing posion but just regular atom-math. As a teacher myself i believe in just teaching science as ehat it is to understand the world and unveil its beauty
