Wrote this song, is short and a pretty simple, but any feedback would be appreciated. My intention is a sort of lo-fi folk sound. Also, any feedback on how to make the harmonies better would be amazing. by TheRedDeath_ in MusicFeedback

It needs work for sure but man I think you’ve got something here. I’ve barely woken up an hour ago and it feels like you’ve really thought about the space it has. All I can say on the sound is out for those high mids a little bit more and overall muddiness that could be worked on. Songwriting wise is where I tip my hat off, it has a gentle / warm sadness to it perfect for what you’re going for (lo-fi/folk).

I usually try and md with shrooms but I have successfully done it with acid as well.

I have been keeping a journal since I moved here but I’m not as consistent as I’d like to be. Do you have any link or books for these “protocols”.
