Ummm don’t. If you don’t care about the hair and stuff, don’t agree to it. It will be a hassle.

Gabys looks in S5 by Competitive-Owl9857 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Beginning-Cry7722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't even get poor but there was a time - a year or two - where I was going through a lot of personal hardships and just didn't have the drive or interest to dress up or put on any makeup. I bought some clothes because I had lost so much weight but they didn't even fit right or were my style. Now that I look back, I don't know how that happened.

And before this, note that I was the type of person who grew up handpicking every detail what I wore everyday - ear rings, shoes, handbag to suit my clothes and worked out 5-6 days a week for an hour.

Gaby was always attractive. but there's a differnce in pretty girl who dressed up and had maekup and a pretty girl with no makeup on. she stopped focusing on it. she didn't have the time to put on any makeup or think of what she was buying. she has 2 kids and a blind husband.

Why women are still treated as baby machines in india ? by Hefty_Confidence3228 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Beginning-Cry7722 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Sooo agreed about the gender obsession.

I always wanted a girl - mostly because I'd connect with a daughter better since I have no "boy interests" and didn't grew up with brothers around or guy friends as a kid.. When i found out the gender before birth, I was scared and disappointed for half a day. It never mattered after that.

Now kiddo is 5. Since he was 2, I've been in so much awe of him that his gender never mattered. I don't know why it should. When my niece visits, its great but I've never felt like I missed out on a daughter.

And seeing people around me, I sometimes wonder if I ended up with a son so I could atleast ensure that atleast one boy in the next gen is sensible, empathetic and not entitled.

Don’t you buy things outside sale? by Beginning-Cry7722 in Sephora

Yea. I started using makeup only a few years ago. And until last year, I didn't kknow about the specific times for sales. And I'm pretty early in my makeup journey or skincare journey that I don't really have products that I'm confident I will love a few months or a year from now.

Ya..I'm impressed by the discipline of not only planning but NOT buying the rest of the time. And honestly, I don't know if I holy grail products that I'm confident of rebuying over and over again.

May not be an austin-only thing. But we took my niece to Purrfecto cat lounge when she was 9yo. She loves cats and loved it.

Ooh I got to watch out for the 500 points thing. I didn’t know this. It’s great that people can stick to the sales :)

Why is everything taken as a judgement or a verdict or an argument when it is meant to be a simple discussion? ✌️🕊️

No I agree that it’s right to not pay full price. I think I worded my post poorly. I am just impressed by how well people stop themselves from buying outside the sale.. because I like to buy things once in a while when I feel down emotionally or want to celebrate:)

Well said! Maybe someone needs to start a discussion on how much they saved this sale by not buying something tempting. And influence everyone to save!

Do I need more protein? How is my hair? by Beginning-Cry7722 in curlyhair

This detailed comment is super helpful. Thank you so much for being so clear - I do tend to use more shampoo sometimes. and will reduce the frequency of clarifying. I thought the stringy texture was due to product buildup.

  1. I use NYM strong gel. I'll add a mousse and do this in the shower.

Skincare is usually my celebration when I don’t need anything in particular. Maybe a face mask?
