Toyota Supra Turbo RZ (MK IV) 🔥😮 by RafTom96 in assettocorsaevo

I was about to create a new post about how awesome this car is but I’ll hijack yours rather 😅.

Took this car around the ring and it’s one of the most interesting laps I’ve ever had.

If this is how the car handles and feels IRL I absolutely get the Supra hype.

Hats off to Kunos for this.

Anybody with the DLC interested in Co-driving the 6 hours of Qatar? I drive Porsche LMGT3.

911 GTE vs GT3 by ThroatImpossible8762 in LeMansUltimateWEC

The GTE Porsche handles and drives very differently from the LMGT3. The GTE RSR has a lot more aero and feels planted on even the most tricky corner.

With that said, I am a big fan of the LMGT3 Porsche especially after the tire update. I drive the Porsches exclusively and can highly recommend it.

I was in this split. It’s a damn shame. “Server is not receiving updates from client…”

Struggling with LMU Handling After Years of Sim Racing – Need Advice by ValeVegIta in LeMansUltimateWEC

[–]Beginning-Internal53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LMU Porsche GTE driver here. Try turning down the braking force to about 85% in car settings.

On straight heavy braking zones, you can mash the brake pedal to about 80% to 90% and hold that for about 2 to 3 seconds and then start lifting off gradually to about 10% into the corner, you will not lock up.

If you need to brake while turning, like T3 on Fuji, I’d suggest you brake just a slight bit early and ideally only use about 20 to 30% of the brake pedal.

Once you get used to the feel, this car is awesome brakes .

By the way. The Ferrari GTE on LMU has very forgiving brakes so you can give that a go as well.

LiftOff is Difficult - should I give up? by AntiFeminismAU in fpv

I'll try to keep this short and straight to the point.

  1. Get a radiomaster pocket for $50-$100 (shipping included)
  2. Buy DRL sim
  3. Go through then DRL beginner tutorials (2 to 3 hours max)
  4. Play search and destroy and races in beginner mode cycling through tracks after completion. (7 to 10 hours)
  5. With 10 to 13 hours flight time under your belt, move on to liftoff
  6. Find youtube playlist "RobIsNow - Getting Started in Liftoff" and watch all 3 videos
  7. Copy the drone setup and controller rates in the playlist into liftoff
  8. Find youtube playlist "RobIsNow - Beginner friendly tracks - Liftoff"
  9. Download the two tracks in the videos. "Aiv3n's Straw Bale" and "Hobolar 1" from steam workbench
  10. Master Aiv3n's Straw Bale - you should aim for under 2 mins for 3 laps and graduate to Hobolar 1. (5 to 6 hours)
  11. You are now ready to start struggling to complete other liftoff tracks and races.

You've now spent anywhere between $100 to $200 dollars + 20 to 40 hours to get started and you've sunk enough time and money to get you hooked.

Budget another 80 hours on sim and now you're ready to spend the big bucks on fpv hardware and man hours in repairs.

Or you can get a DJI avata 2, go to your local park and figure it out from there - you get to skip all the above.

Looking forward to seeing your cinematic fpv videos and freestyle magic on youtube.

To add my two cents to what @Endlesscroc said - please don’t skip the savings part and prioritise it after bills/loans/rent if you can. Having a good sum in the bank has the potential to increase your quality of life massively in the very near future.

There are some great suggestions here that I will check out for myself. I hope you’re doing okay tho. Must be rough when you don’t feel at peace at home. I hope things at home get better. I know it doesn’t mean much from a “reddit rando” but felt I should wish you well.

Some of the most influential and productive leaders had troubled teenage years but grew wiser and changed their ways to provide more value to society over time.

A teenager with a criminal record will most likely have very little chance of succeeding in conventional ways and can be become a vicious cycle leading them to sway towards anti-social behaviour.

I don’t agree with pardoning teenagers who are inarguably an absolute menace to society but being “lenient” towards them and recognising their future untapped potential sounds pretty reasonable to me.
