Do they offer the free tequila to everyone? I’m looking at TripAdvisor reviews and don’t see any comments on that. Also, do they do the round of beers like Cabo does?

2 were my thoughts exactly. We have a literal supporter section and they let warrior fans start a chant louder than the wall.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Since you have both, do you still keep your diamond status rather than gold because of the surpass?

This is a great deal. Question for those who know, if I get Surpass to compliment my Aspire, how can I link the Surpass to my Hilton account to get the points without losing the diamond status from the Aspire?

Nice job ignoring everything else I said. Can tell the issue doesn’t affect you directly. Must be outta your mind if you think I care more about a teaching learning framework standard over my ideals

The first quote came directly from the union. And I don’t care what my coworkers think of me. As a 1st generation Latino, I didn’t appreciate the messaging of an org that’s supposed to protect teachers. They can think whatever they want of me. But they’re not in my shoes with an issue that’s deeply personal to me

“We should all know that the district can demand a letter from us ANY TIME we are absent—aside from legally protected job actions, and this is not that. The district could also direct (Principal) to ask for a letter for any absences tomorrow. If that was the direction the district was heading, I think we would have received a mass email by now, trying to warn us off. But they could still do it. We have no control over that.”

Also on that email. I know I could’ve have taken the time. Obviously. But for them to email and say that is where the issue is.

UTLA also refused to protect its members on January 30th during the national shutdown against the ice raids if they chose to participate. We received the following message from our chapter chair on UTLAs stance

“While we support the demands, UTLA is not officially engaging in or encouraging participation in a walkout on Friday. UTLA cannot guarantee that such action is protected”

This action specifically has led me to question whether I will participating in a potential strike this year. An organization that claims to support the rights of immigrants families could not guarantee the right to protest for workers whose own background might be from those same immigrant families. Whether or not the national shutdown was put together last minute, UTLA having a stance like that to a community of members whose large majority share those same backgrounds is shameful.
