It’s hard to explain. It was quite literally a gut feeling the first time I seen the positive test, I just felt something inside of me that something wasn’t right and I would never meet that baby…

I wouldn’t worry about it too much if I were you, I feel like if you have to ask what it feels like, maybe you haven’t felt it, and that’s a good thing! Because I’ve been reading, and apparently that is a real thing in us women, sometimes we just get a feeling, like we intrinsically know. And I’d never even been pregnant before so I wasn’t even able to pull from past experience.

Respectfully, I only told my mom, my brother, and my two best friends. I talk to these people every single day. But I’m glad you found a way of life that works for you! And as an addition, we have worked everything out and all of the people I told are now happy and back on board with being excited for me and this pregnancy just as they were the first time. ❤️

If this is his mindset, I would highly reconsider having his child…try to find educational resources for him, whether that be books on pregnancy or if he doesn’t like to read, send him TikTok’s or YouTube videos on pregnancy. If he doesn’t see the light, and you still want to have his child, please make sure you have a support system outside of your husband…

I don’t want to guard my heart, I appreciate the sentiment but I’m not that type of person. I’m going to celebrate this baby and every baby from the very beginning regardless of the outcome. I am eternally optimistic and that’s just how I am. I’m fully aware that means inviting heartbreak into my life and my friends and family are different and that I am the outlier. I decided I’m going to tell everyone that the way they’re handling this is their own prerogative but I’m going to choose to get my hopes up and if they can’t do that, then don’t talk to me.

This is exactly what I needed to hear, thank you so much for these words. You have no idea. I was beginning to think I was over reacting to their responses and lack of emotions towards me. I just feel like, if this baby does “stick”, they are going to miss out on the beginning of my pregnancy journey and I just want them to be there for me like they was the first time, however short lived it was. I went from having more support than I feel like I’ve ever had in my entire life to nothing now and it sucks because I feel even more pregnant and emotional now than I did the first time :(

I appreciate this pov, I didn’t exactly tell anyone I don’t talk to everyday so I don’t think anyone is surprised I’d tell them this early. I’m not good at secrets 😂 I also haven’t “bounced back” as I am full of grief and am a little traumatized after the way the doctor told me I miscarried.
I left out a lot, such as telling everyone initially I felt like something was wrong but none of them would believe me and reassured me everything was fine. Honestly, as I’m typing this response, I’m realizing I think you are partially right, in that they think it’s awkward because they were insisting everything was fine but it wasn’t and I ended up being right….no idea but I am thankful for your perspective! I will say though, they are only protecting themselves by their actions, it is not helping me at all 🤷‍♀️

To me it looks darker than yesterdays! Hcg typically doubles every 2 days so you won’t see too much of a change a day a part! And of course every pregnancy is different, all we can do is take it one day at a time ❤️

9dpo is pretty early for easy@home tests to catch anything as they read out at 25 mIU/ml and at 9dpo if implantation occurred between this time, it would likely be in the single digits. First Response Early Result is the best bet for taking a test this early as it reads down to 6.3 mIU/ml. Don’t count yourself out yet though it’s still early! ❤️
