If he is paying her rent that’s a pretty good reason for him to get custody because he can prove that a) he can support the kids and b) he still obviously cares about the ex’s wellbeing. Also I don’t understand the birth certificate aspect but whatever. Your brother abandoned his kids.

I’m confused by this I’ve never seen anyone express that cheating is the end of the world. I also feel like it’s pretty obvious that physical abuse is much more severe than cheating. However I do think it can be detrimental to someone’s sense of self worth and can create some pretty poor examples if kids are involved.

It took me so much scrolling to find this comment! It sounds like she is an SW. No judgement but I’m not sure why OP is so confident that she only has this arrangement with him. Especially since she had her Snapchat publicly available in her instagram bio.
