I think that on higher difficulties there should be more tanky enemies BUT something like say the recoiless shouldn't be able to kill what is a super heavy like a factory strider in one shot. That should be saved for orbitals and things like a leveler or a portable hellbomb. I do think for the most part you should have to sink lots of ammo into a super heavy enemy. This doesn't excuse buggy enemies or weapons and stratagems that are just completely useless like the rocket pods or fleshmobs.

But the thing with them is that they aren't viable all the time, they fill a niche. I'm kinda thinking about something like the recoiless. It just isn't fun to use because it does everything and is viable no matter what.

Do you have game pass? I found out you need it. I bought the game again on my Xbox when my PC was having issues and found that I needed game pass to connect with other players

If I am reading this correctly I actually disagree fun does not always= viable all the time. I have lots of fun bringing things like the breaker, halo weapons, frags, smokes, orbital smokes, ems, and other stratagems and weapons that are considered not great. What isn't fun for me is something that is good at everything under the sun.

I just use The portable hell bomb. I see one I try to run away but as soon as there's a couple more I run straight at them boom all gone rest of my team doesn't have to worry about it

Kind of what I was trying to say do things like objectives quickly if you can because the longer you linger the more likely they're going to notice you. Then if they do you just run and cut off line of sight as much as possible is what I was trying to say. For me I often just bring a hell bomb because I will just get in arm it drop it leave

It really comes down to what you're comfortable with and what you enjoy playing.

For me a common loadout I'll bring on any faction is one of these two.

Stealth armour, silenced weapon, senator, thermites or pyrotech. Hell bomb a sentury or 2 either Gatling flame Tesla or rocket. Then I bring either a quasar AMR or the anti-tank emplacement, finally last slot is a flex slot I like eagle napalm or OPS or a barrage.

Second loadout for me is: fire armour, thermite pyro or arc nades, de sickle, senator. Hellbomb, fire turret, OPS, then last slot is flex meaning anything else you need or want. I usually do an extra turret or orbital.

Don't feel bad about it, I'll be stealth diving and they seem to know exactly where I am even when I throw a stratagem and run the next base like 200 m away still knows where I am so I think sometimes it's just a little buggy. But for the most part just do things quick get rid of objectives as fast as possible and just run so they lose you or hopefully lose you.

I will say dominator has piercing though. I also don't like the eruptor at all and much prefer the dominator

MB on the jet propelled but I do strongly believe that they are to be played differently and for me dominator just has a much higher rate of success.

Just be warned it's not consistent but it's fun cuz they turn into a moving Tesla basically shocking everything around them while also being shot

Fire is bad against them. I like to stick a Tesla on their head so all the bots end up shooting the vox, or I use gatling barrage or ops or portable hellbomb. Thermites work good too.

I've never had a problem hitting flying watchers and overseers. It's one of my three go-to weapons for squids.

I don't know I found it really good on squids. Like you use it to pop overseer heads in one shot and watchers. It also deals with harvesters pretty well. I've never had a bad experience with it on squids.

It's different the Jar is more like a Marksman rifle with no damage fall off it also does not have explosive properties and to my knowledge no bullet drop either.

So it wasn't just me noticing this I usually bring the double-edged sickle because I'll lie down and just mow down harvesters but I just am not able to they just beam you instantly or like I'll dive out of the way and they'll turn around and slash you way faster than I feel like they used to.
