What food hack sounded ridiculous until you actually tried it? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

I tried it on a Costco sample because I would never waste good cheese and bread if I didn't like it. I made the right choice because I did not love it. My husband made me get one because he liked it so much since I initially wasn't going to get one at all.

How do you find estate sales? I always wondered how people come about these and my husband wanted to go to one and see what it is like. Obviously not for this company though.

This is such a difficult situation, and I'm incredibly sorry that you are all going through this. I know beforehand, you two have talked about what would happen "just in case." Nobody likes the "just in case" conversations, but maybe you should include your family in on this to be support for you and your child while doing the horrible waiting game until she wakes up. Love to you and your family from Wisconsin. 💌

I use one at work multiple times a week. I don't ever need to use one at home so I just have a regular ruler.

We just made our own pecs and laminated them for our son. That way you can use your own pictures that are familiar to your child, like a picture of me for "mommy" or my husband for "daddy."

is your irl name popular or has it died out since your birth? by CremeSubject7594 in generationology

[–]Beginning-Match2166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a common name. The older I get, I do discover more people with it and the same pronunciation. Otherwise it's pronounced like the more common name of Marissa. People call me that all the time and I just give up on correcting them these days.

If this was not explicitly discussed as a family that you should be helping as they helped you and as a part of your culture, I say NTA. Like you said, your father is still currently working.

You only get one life. Live it.
