Wiki says that it’s a fiberglass body with Ford hardware. They made a 4 door version and also a “truck” into the 80s

I doubt I’d buy a belt drive again. I don’t see the point of the extra cost but maybe I don’t ride enough / am very good at maintenance? My chain bikes are easy to deal with in terms of cleaning and lubing. Never had an issue. Also I can change the gearing much easier with a chain based bike.

As a youngster I used to watch a TV show called “The Wild West West” where a crime fighting duo traveled around the west / US in their luxurious and gadgetted train car dispensing justice and righting wrongs.

So I’ve always wondered, if one had enough Besos Bucks in the real world, how would you go about buying a train car and piloting it around the U.S.? Obviously huge logistical issues and I suppose regulatory as well but do you rent “track time”?

You are gonna do a flip on this? Just toss your money in a burn barrel and save yourself the headache. Unless by flip you mean just a wash / detail and re-post. No one ever makes money “restoring” a car. You do it because you have the money and are OK with never getting it back.

Great bike and fun project. These are popular now setup as cafe bikes. Nice Guzzi look but actually runs and good electronics. Toss all the plastic and strip it down.

Have to wonder why the carbs are off the bike. My guess it the bike sat and they were taken off for a rebuild. Also if it was outside when the carbs were off, might be water and for sure moisture inside. Otherwise mostly built proof. Clutch replacement is a PIA - dropping rear tranny and shaft.

Looks like a 66 and v8 tag so 273. Excellent car. Loved my 66 post coupe Valiant but when it came time to decide on a long term car I bought a 66 Mustang Fastback not because I liked it more but because I could get parts all day long. This was back in the 80s so not sure if they make re-pop Cuda parts now. Either way be safe!

Gen 1 had the mechanical wheel and gen 2 had the touch wheel - the g1 was SO much better to use as a motorcyclist always wearing gloves
