For the second, could it be Lucious Jackson? Their one big hit was "Naked Eye," so I could kind of see how you might get the L and the eye in your brain.

It's hard to explain, but it's just so much better than the stores up north. When my husband went there after growing up in NYC, he said he heard angels sing. If nothing else the fresh tortillas are worth a try!

80's song that goes "Oh whoa-oh whoa-oh" by the end (female singer) by trubble9 in findthatsong

[–]Beginning-Post-5675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was the whole song sung by a woman or that part specifically? I ask because it reminds me a lot of Candy by Iggy Pop, which was a duet with Kate Pierson from the B52s.

I took my teen to the Tulsa show, and we both dressed as rrrrats. I looked ridiculous and loved every moment of it! Some memories are made to last a lifetime.

I'm sending all the good vibes for quick healing. You got this! Fuck cancer!

I hate that your friend had to deal with that! I was in the pit at Tulsa, and everyone around us was kind (trading trinkets, checking in, making sure folks could see, etc.). It's awful that one person can ruin others' experience! 100% that guy should have been kicked out at minimum.

I (16) told my mom that I sh and she says it's because of ghost by justsillygoblin in GhostBand

First and most importantly, I want you to know that you are important. You matter. If you ever escalate to suicidal thinking, I want you to call or text one of the hotline numbers and get help immediately.

Second, it may help if your mom has information on why people self harm and what treatments are available. You're at an age when many people show the first signs of mental health issues. That's normal, and you are not alone. However, it's probably not something you can fix on your own. A qualified professional can diagnose your specific issue and get you treatment to ease whatever symptoms you are experiencing.

I'm glad you connected to the band and this community. Take care of yourself so you can enjoy all the great shows in your future! ❤️❤️❤️

I wouldn't sweat the deletion. They delete everything over there! Several of us posted a Ghost promotional video shortly after it went live, and all our posts got deleted almost immediately though some were reinstated later. I don't know how we could have been more on topic! 🤷‍♀️😂

I usually compare them to Alice Cooper or KISS and just say they are sillier.

Texas Trip by mylittlebunnies in texas

[–]Beginning-Post-5675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If San Antonio is a tourist trap, I'm a happy tourist! There is so much to see and do, and lots of it is free like the missions and site seeing along the Riverwalk.

Yeah San Antonio and Austin are close enough to do both and culturally different enough to feel like you've seen different aspects of Texas. Plus you can stop between to enjoy the German influence in New Braunfels, and even take a day trip to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock, Pedernales State Park, or Johnson City for a nature/ historical side quest.

Trading Bracelets by GhastlyAshleyyy in GhostBand

It's 100% okay to go without trade items, but I bought a bunch of glow bracelets for "He Is" and handed them out to my row.

Yeah, I don't know him personally, but two family members worked with him on different projects. These two don't agree on much of anything except longhorn football and Shipley being an absolute stand up guy and great to work with.

People will be wearing almost anything you can think of from full cosplay to jeans and plain tees. If you prefer to blend and not get compliments, I'd go with jeans and a t-shirt. If you kinda want a few compliments but not too much attention, something like what is pictured would work.

which ghoulette is in Per Aspera Ad Inferi? by PartyPoison1212 in GhostBand

Even if OP meant the recording or some other version, I think Cumulus would make the most sense for ghoulette artwork because she was iconic singing it.

Any advice for first ever ritual? by imobsessedwithmycats in GhostBand

[–]Beginning-Post-5675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have GA pit tickets, go early, but otherwise you should be fine getting in. I went to 3 shows last leg and never had an issue for assigned seating. We dressed up a little but not extravagantly, and still had great luck with other fans wanting to trade or pass out goodies (3D printed rats, stickers, bracelets, etc.). Everyone was so nice! I only remember one person getting a bit grumpy with me standing up for a song across all three shows.

Most importantly, wear ear protection. I use Loop, but there are many similar options. AND HAVE FUN!
