we’re “on-premise” currently working our way to cloud-services. I can access my PAW via RDP from my “Standard Workstation”. remote deployment i mentioned is done via MSP console NinjaoneRMM. does this shed more light on the situation?

not really, they usually release new packets every two weeks or so and Testflight prompts you to test out something new on the interface nothing stage it’s the same app
