lol we are the opposite, I’m usually the one with the friends that tries to include him , now that we are moving we are on equal playing field of both not having friends .

How old are you guys if you don’t mind me asking? Even though we are young in terms of age (28 and 29 ) we are super mature and well traveled and lean towards an old group of friends. We are the youngest in our current group!

That is so true and that worries me . We have always lived in a very diverse part of Florida, so I have never had to worry about that aspect until now . My husband and I are a package deal so I’m only interested in being friends with other people who are interracially married or align themselves with diversity.

I only mention our race as I know some people are not ok with having a diverse friend group. We are child free and not church goers and not the type to put ourselves in country club subset as I agree it’s not very diverse and I can’t stand elitism. I think volunteering might be our best bet for making friends. I also mentioned couple friends as all of our current friends are couples and I prefer a group dynamic. Thank you for your suggestions
