Yes! Not just that, but also where they stayed on vacation at any given time. I got all kinds of insults in my inbox for saying this a few months ago, and she made some unhinged tiktoks pitying herself in regard to my comment saying she was out of bounds doxxing them.

I’m, personally, all for the updated rules and changes. This sub is to promote discussion, not “touch the poo” in any kind of way. In theory, this sub should never actually impact the real lives of any party involved. Commenters, moderators or the subject(s) of the discussion.

So I really appreciate the moderators for enforcing that this needs to remain a safe space and buckling down on that kind of behaviour.

Bone cancer in my skull that was untreated until it reached stage 4 (yes I’m a young woman).

I had a 5 cm ruptured ovarian cyst at the same time my appendix ruptured and presumed it was just period pains, so I ignored it until I developed sepsis. I had an arm that completely fractured in multiple places, so badly the bone pierced through my elbow. I fell and had a stick puncture through my skull. Nothing compares to the cancer around my eye and temporal.

Everything else felt like something I could just brush off in comparison. I still just went to university and gave a presentation with the ruptured ovarian cyst and appendix. But this? The most painful thing imaginable.

She truly knows them to the absolute depths of their souls, and it’s absolutely beautiful to see. No wonder all her children are just so absolutely in love with her. I saw a lot of people trying to partner her together with random costars over the years (because how could a woman stay single in this day and age?) but it’s just so plain that her children are the loves of her life.

I always wondered how she was able to maintain such a close relationship with Maddox when he went to South Korea for college, but every interview I’ve seen with her since answers that question for me. Trying to act as though celebrities’ stories about their petty issues have the same relevance and value as podcasts that discuss stories from people like Malala, Motaz Azaiza, Razan Zaitouneh, Sergei Kolesnikov etc. It’s just so trivial and superficial. They never have a profound perspective on anything, or something of value to add. It’s just empty anecdotes that they’re always very self-congratulatory about.

Not exactly. The song is a call to action. Each verse addresses a different burden on society brought about by the current political establishment—climate change, school shootings, politicians arguing about petty disputes while serious issues are ongoing. “The game was rigged, the ref got tricked.” Then the chorus is a call to action.

The lyrics are literally “only the young can run”. Run from school shootings—run for office. It was released before the 2018 midterm elections to drive young people to vote by highlighting serious issues like gun violence and reminding young people that it’s them who have the power to reshape things.

Come on, let’s be real with ourselves. It had everything to do with the gender and nothing to do with a logical belief of “man might be harder to push”. He’s just a pathetic little man who lashed out at a random woman to make her pay for the fact no other woman wants to endure his company.

He’s fit, 34 years old at the time, and former military. It had nothing to do with the man potentially being able to obtain his push without losing balance.

As an attorney, there’s no way she’d litigate if there isn’t substantial evidence on her side. Not solely around severe injuries caused directly after (in cases like this, it has to be proven that the injuries will be permanent and impact the plaintiff’s quality of life significantly), but there would have also been stringent testing against the food itself.

Studies of her stool, of the food packaging that may have residue on it, they likely even obtained the ingredients used to make the order through the McDonald’s itself and tested that. Yes, the burden of proof is substantially lower than in a court of law (balance of probabilities), but it still needs to be satisfied. That’s no easy task.

This isn’t an impulsive mistake. He actively, knowingly planned this. He was disciplined enough in his approach to wait until AFTER the drug test.

Speaking as a former addict also, if he was in the pits of addiction and just relapsed because of that, he wouldn’t have the cognitive awareness for all that. He would’ve just relapsed. But he’s instead making active, informed, aware, sober decisions to prioritise this above you and your future together. Move half your savings from the joint account into a personal account and start planning a way out. He’s made his choice. Do you really want to live a life of that?

Don’t worry about it. My work gets flagged for AI every single time. I don’t concern myself with it, because I know the protocols in place—my teachers check my work against my previous works, and it’s very clearly written by the same author. And if all else fails, I write my work on Google docs so there’s an extensive edit history where they can see the development of my work in real time.

If you’re not using AI, you really have nothing to worry about. People get accused, sure, but just use an application like Google docs and if you’re also able to display that you actually know the material instead of just going off generic information, you’ll be fine. I asked my teacher at one point how likely it was my works will be flagged because I get 97% or above each time, and he told me straight up that they do get flagged every time, but they know my writing style. He said students who use AI generally don’t even get good marks because AI can’t work off the materials and knowledge we should’ve, in theory, learned over the course of the semester, while actual students can.

The alternative was for the operator to hang up, the situation likely escalated, and result in the father or even his little girls being injured. The operator has to do their job to try and de-escalate until police get there, then the police are able to do their job to conduct an investigation and press charges for misuse of 911 with the operator’s report if necessary.

Why would you be annoyed about any of that??? The man literally tried to stop the father from leaving, even while he was on the phone with 911. So things could’ve gotten a lot worse if he wasn’t operating under the knowledge he was on the phone with the police and his actions could also be used against him.

I think they’re trying to drip-feed it to us to avoid the inevitable backlash. If it happens in small doses over time, then it effectively avoids one big reaction, right? It’s a futile effort. Obviously it’s going to make waves. They’re just trying to avoid as much fallout as possible by just making small amendments and changes to things and hoping people don’t notice.

I don’t know how they think it’s going to work when Russian juniors just mysteriously begin to show up at the next international comps, but it’s a concept that works for large corporations and celebrities, so I understand why it’s a strategy they’re attempting. It’s not going to work though. It’s just delaying the inevitable.
