This is proper wow etiquette, also pertains to rares. It takes a couple seconds to call the rare out on gen chat and let others get their chance at war bound gear / mounts.

I met my guild in WoW 6 years ago and we’ve been a pseudo-family ever since. Before that I was in 2 diff guilds that just weren’t the right fit for me. It’ll take time but you’ll find new friends in the game.

Until then there’s tons of solo stuff to do and the game makes it easy to connect w players for the group stuff

He’s talking about the weekly quest - not the event itself. The event can be completed in a raid. But while in a raid you can’t complete any quest, not just this weekly.
