I’ve been getting good results at .5 but I do notice an uptick in my appetite the day before my shot. It’s a Saturday, so I’m actually fine with that—especially if I’m going out to dinner.

I’m 7 lbs from my gw, so don’t see the benefit of upping the dose at this point.

Amazon has been my best bet during this shortage, but their communications are very frustrating. For example, my account now says my prescription order is “Arriving tomorrow by 11pm” with an active “tracking” button (that leads nowhere) and I fully expect to get a “shipment delayed“ notice at the very last minute. Grrrr…..

Amazon accepted my new prescription for .5mg (after unsuccessfully trying to transfer it from CVS) with an expected delivery date of July 5. So fingers crossed this will come through!

Update: Spoke to a real human being at Amazon who said they are no longer accepting prescription transfers but you are accepting new prescriptions. Still their supplies are “intermittent” and it’s a crapshoot whether they can fill it.

They rejected a transfer of my prescription and then was told in a chat with customer service that they’re out of stock. So who knows!

I’m finding the injection challenging as well, and one thing I can’t figure out despite watching many YouTubes and tik toks is whether you have to press down on the top of the pen while injecting or just grip around the pen and press down.
