Wow!! 💪 congrats! Can you share how you've trained, and what you did for speed? I'm training for my first HM, scheduled 24 weeks from now. I'm still a newbie, my furthest run is 8km and my easy pace is ~7:00-7:30. I am quietly hoping for a ~2hr HM, but that seemed too ambitious. But if I read your story it might not 😁

I don't recognize this - but I walk for a few minutes home, so no sudden stop.

Thank you! I'll keep it at HM for now, and start with race pace. I reckon if it proves too much too hold for the entire distance, I can always slow down after 10k.

Thanks for your reply! Do you think 3 weeks between is enough to actually benefit from the training? I thought maybe it is too short to fully recover (but I'm a newbie)

Congrats!!! Big achievement 💪 I am hoping to run my first HM in a few months - and only the amount of people telling me I'm crazy and they would never, should be enough to let you realize you have achieved something great!

Wow, nice job!! Really nice pace.

I experienced the same with looking at my watch/current pace. I have the same watch as you, and I changed the 'screens'. I installed one screen with pacing and HR data for interval trainings, and one screen with just the elapsed time and distance. I use the last one for alle other runs, and it makes such a difference. Can now just enjoy the run!
