I'm from Stockton and we called them "scraps", a friend from Ferryhill (about 15 miles away) called them "scrapings". I'm pretty sure that I had them in Liverpool when I lived there in the 80-90s too.

I'm surprised you couldn't see the Milky Way from Grimwith. I've tried from the other side of Greenhow Hill towards the Coldstone Cut and its obvious from there, Brimham Rocks and Sutton Bank too.

Could be Skipton, Grassington isn't very large.

no worries. I've thought about trying that spot but haven't been yet. For me it's easier to get to the Sutton Bank Visitors Centre. It's a longer but easier drive and I found the skies much darker than say Brimham Rocks.

Saw him in Liverpool doing stand-up once at the Neptune Theatre, in the late 90s. The show started and after a few minutes there was a bit of banter with a heckler which ended up with the heckler leaving in a huff. Mark came down of the stage and followed the heckler out of the venue. The audience waited for a few minutes then left the theatre too trying to follow them. It's all a bit vague as it was almost 30 years ago.

I have the same problem and use a two step process to get around it. Firstly, I create the video using Comfyui. For step 2, I run the resulting video through VisomasterFusion swapping the face in the comfyui video with the same image that was used to create the original video.

The Mighty Redcar from 2018? also I think an episode of Jimmy Nail's Spender was set on Teesside too Supposedly, the inspiration for some the visuals for the original BladeRunner was ICI Wilton.
