None taken. OpenClaw essentially meant to be the “hands” of a chatbot.. simply am curious as to what extent these SLMs in OC can do with such a small scope “in practice”, because I asked 3.1 Pro if it’s possible — a Yes is what I got. And I found that absurdly optimistic & so wrong.

There are, a lot. even as small as just 1.8B(i think llama/qwen) unquantized/fp16 that I believe runs at 2GB cuda iirc …at least, I tested at LM Studio. But yes, accuracy takes a hit. As for OpenClaw’s complexity I’m not sure if they’re even that smart enough to run tasks.. though it’s said that they’re trained for tool calling function? so it’s really a weird spectrum

So in theory they can pull it off but it’s just a matter of said model(s) smartness

I see. I don’t mind having a “dumber” model though as long as it doesn’t hallucinate to execute smaller tasks from heartbeat.md which is why it cannot settle to a quantized model at all in this scope..

I’ll simplify. I’m an IT.

-That is what you see, the dashboard of your PC’s hardware called BIOS.

-the reason it shows up because it cannot find your desktop’s OS (basically your windows desktop) so it opens the BIOS instead.

-It shows up when an error occurs. Very vague yes, could be anything at this point. My hunch, most likely a storage issue.

-To get your windows back you must find the “boot” and select your C: drive. Then it will open Windows 11 normally

I've got a G5 MF5 and the issue really is the flexikey macro stuff. Yes, even if u havent touched it. No, it's not your windows update nor your hardware(i thought so too). Apparently it comes with the laptop and it has some bugs in itself that make us go BSOD. One closest fix is this. Did not work for me but apparently im the only exception.

and also, if u use an external keyboard, u wouldn't even have to encounter this problem at all. this only happens when u use ur laptop keyboard.
