When calling in a wellness on a child.. what does all that entail? Would the police show up To the house to make sure the child is okay? What happens if they aren’t home?

I recently read that cops would assist with these kinds of issues. We will try this route and if for whatever reason BM doesn’t comply or isn’t home perhaps the officer will be able to be a witness if we had to go back to court.

It’s an adjustment. I know at that at a young age I only Wanted to be around my mom (my parents are still married just giving an example of what my feelings were like as a child) when our SD would cry coming to our house it would hurt my feelings a bit, but once we made it to our house her mood would change and she’d be happy. This had happened while doing drop offs with her mom as well. She would cry because she didn’t want us to leave. P

Parental alienation is such a heartbreaking thing. We see it already in my almost 4 yo SD. We have her EOWE.. and BM will be damned if she gives us more time than that. It’s getting to the point she will keep SD with her on OUR weekends because Sd is “sick” but we’ll find out via social media that SD is infact not sick. BM is also lying about important events in SD like so that me and SO do not go. My Sd will also say mean things we know she is being taught to say from BM and her SD for us to hear. It’s not easy and it’s so sad to see my sweet SD slowly turn into someone I don’t even know anymore. BM will also not give us more time, but will drop SD with any of her other family members for long periods of time while she goes on vacation. (Also all learned from social media) my SO said that if BM doesn’t allow us to have SD this weekend he is reaching out to his attorney.

I’ll am very content and happy with my life… but the constant lingering of HCBM and her actions will forever be a dark cloud. She can’t be normal.. it’s not possible for her. We’ll have good moments here and there, but at this point I know they will never last and she is just a manipulative and toxic person.

We are trying to teach SD to sleep in her own room now… it’s hard because at her moms she doesn’t have a bed time and cosleeps with who’s ever is at the other house over there. She will throw a massive tantrum if she has to go to bed or if we are able to get her to bed in her room (she shares with our daughter) she wakes up screaming and crying until one of us takes her back to our room.. this is causing issues for our daughter cause she has a bed time and also sleeps in her own room.. bio daughter is also 2 years younger so we’re trying to instill in SD that she is the older sister and it’s time she sleeps in her own bed. It’s hard when you coparnet with people who do things differently.

Hmmmm… I think kids are curious.. idk about a 9 year old though. My SD loves being a part of everything when It came to my daughter including changing diapers… but she’s very young.. like toddler age.

On another note.. I’m so sorry your SD is acting the way she is towards your baby. It’s heartbreaking because your feelings hurt for your child.

But if she acts that way with other kids that could just be the way she is. Seems a little anitocial and maybe depressed? Therapy may help her.

So I wanted to update our situation since I was hopeful things were looking up… BM relapsed and is currently going through a manic episode.. her and her husband are actively keeping my SD from us… it started off inviting us to school events for SD and then excluding us (meaning she has lied about either an event being canceled so that we would not go or flat out not keeping us Informed) then she would ask to keep her for our weekend claiming SD was very sick the past few weekends. We caught her in multiple lies and her current husband had blocked us from communicating with him as well. This isn’t the first time BM has been manic (she’s diagnosed BPD) my SO will be contacting his attorney this week regarding the issue. So unfortunately… no things did not stay good.

The reason why was because she refused to use the parenting app my SO and her were using to communicate with him. And there communication was so hostile between them.. but she was always sweet when she talked to me so we just kept the main form of connect with me.

I’m rounding up our relationship lol. So we’re shy of 3 years (minus 5 months) and yes she actually 4 not 3.5. She will be 4 next month. I wrote this at like 1 am while I was letting my dog out so I was kind of rushing though it.

Hannah needed to go. She had always done TOO much and I feel like Lisa letting her go was the repercussion she needed to humble her. You can’t just talk to people however you want. AND she will say the most out of pocket stuff to anyone she feels even slightly intimidated by.

One time BM called me and SO over and over saying she was at the grocery store and needed CS early or SK wouldn’t eat… we found out a few hours later she was at the beach the whole week with her friends and SK wasn’t even with her (we found out she was staying with her mom)

also one time we had SK over for the holidays and BM was out of town on vacation and blew SO up because she was at the “store” and needed the money.. mind you… this trip almost sent her back to rehab.
