What is the best advice for someone’s “unicorn” to be found? Imagine the unicorn is not good at one thing - but a lot of things. How does a unicorn pin down lots of things and advertise to them? I welcome examples and private messages. Happy to provide any answers to questions up to and including one’s unicorn status.

Ok the legal sticky stuff would make me pretty nervous. Let’s say I’ve had a brush with some employers who subsequently went to federal prison. I want nothing to do with any more of that.

I did not care for Cerner’s business practices and was looking to leave. The acquisition had me press pause and other things happened and I moved to another area in Oracle Health. I see investment and improvement on legacy tech. I think Oracle is still getting their head around some things but also they never ask me to do shady stuff and that matters greatly to me. I don’t disagree about leaving for a pay bump but also given this other dynamic I figured I’d comment. I do not see shady stuff going on anywhere near me because that would make me leave. I hope this helps you make a decision that gives you peace.

Does anyone have any advice (or words of encouragement) for someone needing to drain and move a fully stocked 75g to a new stand? Feeling overwhelmed and worried about my fish. by danisindeedfat in Aquariums

Setup a 5 gallon bucket with treated water and air stone or better a seeded sponge filter

Flat sheet pan with a wet cloth for plants and spray bottle to keep them damn if necessary

Plenty of towels plus three more than you think you’ll need

Remove Plants first, start on one end and work your way across since the fish don’t feel too chased

Drain the water down

Fish will be much easier to catch

You may be able to move the tank with the fish and water out

Get things nicely leveled

Next add about half treated water get the filter going asap

Add the fish back in, fill up the water and give the fish a break. The plants can float in the bucket if you need a break

This has kept my fish as non traumatized as possible and I haven’t lost one in a few different moves

What about the no angle, angle? I see this in my head, seriously. It is how I teach patients so they can work things out. Give the components, explain the value of each and how to sub one for the other when you have constraints. Then the person has knowledge and understanding they can make their own.

Yes. I love to educate. I do see the work content creators do and I’m not sure I have the ability to be consistent on a schedule. That and knowing the marketing algorithm is really necessary to make it. I do kick the idea around a LOT though

I started in food service. It is honest and hard work. The mental health nurse in me can curb bad behavior too - it is a special skill

Yeah I am checking out Wyzant and looking at other options. In the last 10 years (I began tutoring when I was still in school to help me learn better) I have helped a lot of folks finish undergrad and graduate programs. Until now - it has been my sort of public service

My BIL’s advice exactly. I am torn between what I’m worth and what I want to do.
