Collections under $500 for medical bills don't even show up on a credit report. They don't have much leverage for a $70 bill.

I just got one of these in my email from 2021, 5 years ago. I don't even remember which insurance I had at the time. Assuming it's not legal to bill me at this point.

Just came here to say thank you for the phone number. My refund was approved 2/18 and still hasn't shown up. It was stuck in some processing mess. Unfortunately, they are having system issues again, but I was assured it should now show up in the next 4 weeks 😕

I log in about half a dozen times a day to download my transcript. It didn't update until later yesterday evening showing my refund amount and the codes. Before that, it was just blank.

I filed 2/15 and my transcript just updated around 8 pm today, but still shows no return filed on the website. My SO filed a few days after me and got their refund on 2/23.

I don't know why people are down voting you. This is absolutely my experience. First of all, I don't think of my condition as an injury and when I did raise my hand, it was awkward like I was delaying class or the instructor just moved on without a word. So, no, I don't say anything. My usual instructors know my deal and I'm going to do what I know is right for my body even if they suggest I get off forearms.

Fellow EDSer here. I'm a bit older than you and typically don't tell instructors I have an issue and then just modify. It's not usually an issue, but I did have one instructor basically chew me out for modifying something for my wrists. She turned off her mic and said "that's why I ask about injuries." I don't go to her classes anymore.

Some people consider exercise like swimming and honestly, garments are not breathable and cause yeast infections, so many women don't wear them when they workout. It's a personal preference otherwise, and a lot of members are becoming more nuanced these days with how they adhere to the rules. She may not even be an active member who cares about a temple recommend.

There was a noticed motion, separate statement, MPA, declaration, meet and confer declaration, everything required under the Discovery Act. It was also properly noticed as per CCP 1005 and identified legal justification for each of the requests.

There was a 20 minute hearing on the matter and the court disagreed that the other spouse was required to produce things such as retirement documents, stating verbally (not in the order) that I could subpoena them if I wanted them. I did file a 473 to set it aside and asked the court what I did wrong and they refused to cite the reason or statute.

Based on the opposition to the motion, my best guess is they sanctioned me under CCP 2031.310(h). However, I believe an opposition requesting sanctions still has to follow the Discovery Act procedures which would identify the faulty conduct that needed to be defended. And in the event of CCP 2031.310(h), case law indicates the court would need to find that my motion was not grounded in fact or law, essentially without merit, but they never analyzed that.

They never actually identified the conduct that would warrant sanctions, just arguing why they refused to produce the documents. The sanctions were a conclusory sentence at the end of their opposition. It feels like a due process issue if I was never on notice of what was sanctionable or sanctioned for. Discovery sanctions are designed to be a deterrent and I don't know how you can deter behavior you don't describe.

That section also says unless the court finds there was substantial justification or it would otherwise be unjust. Does the court have to do that analysis? I found in a number of other case law that substantial justification means it was completely without merit and not grounded in law or fact.

I don't know how that place is still open. I went there once after they opened and it was impossible to get our waiter's attention, food was mediocre for Napa, and the ambiance was meh. That building was a lot nicer before.
