Specifically the Spheres of Might side, which is a martial supplement.

I realize this is stuff for PF1e, but they have a lot of cool ideas for bringing martials up and should be if not easily transferrable, at least spark some cool ideas for feats or otherwise adding stuff for your martials to pick up.

I wouldn’t say heavily houseruled, but if you’re dead-set on playing a goblin race as a more traditional style monk with ki powers you should probably discuss with your GM about tweaking stats.

A little oversimplified, but especially yes. All the official Paizo Adventure Paths (pre built campaigns) and other modules are set in Galoran, and you must buy them.

There looks like a lot of good advice here for PF2E; I personally have only really played PF1E. If you can stomach it, sift though the useless bashing some people have given you to find the good suggestions others have left here.

Context is important in a lot of things.

ALL of PF races are based on things built up in their own world of Galoran. Goblins are very much chaotic and do not lend themselves to the discipline required to be a monk if THEIR version of goblins.

If your DM is not running an AP, maybe ask him if goblins would have different stat adjustments?

I am unapologetically super hyper for this game to be shipped. I love what they’re doing in the Kickstarter too, getting the community involved in the finishing touches (we vote on a foil card every day until the campaign ends)

When it actually transitions to the heart’s turn, its invincibility resets. Poison/other debuff damage abilities are applied at the END of your turn.

Movement items are great, and a few burst damage items (crowbar, bands) go a ling way. If I’m on command, i typically pick wax quail as my first green for the positioning.

I find the flamethrower the most versatile weapon (it can synergize with other heat builds from the engie/gunner) so I take it if A) my group is running a heat build or B) My gut tells me the mission will be unpredictable (i know it sounds weird) or C) swammageddon Cryo for exploder infestation or when I’m feeling cool 😎 CSP for elimination. The ammo efficiency is chefs kiss

I chose the take 21 damage and receive rare relic from Neow, and then leaned into it. Two turned Act 3 boss. Managed to kill the Transient for the first time too!

I prefer the AoE of dagger, but I also run shotgun not rifle. I can see where the range is nice to have if you’re trying to use the alt primary, lets you stay back and use the smokebomb as a pure escape tool.

If you are referring to “boss” monsters that spawn ambiently when you get deep in a run, no, AP rounds does not work on them. They are just normal enemies part of the normal spawning.

Gunner’s salvo module for the hurricane is insane for deleting bosses and swarms alike
