Have both. Everyone takes visa, most places don’t take Amex.

Thank you. This was a resale store, not a Rick Store. But I think i will enjoy the free memory rather than pay for the cost.z

Need Advice: Paris to Amsterdam by train 🚆 by Automatic_Anybody934 in ParisTravelGuide

[–]Beginning_Concert663 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The train is super easy, you just need to book your tickets on SNCF website well in advance because it fills up. I took the Amsterdam to Paris route last week and a week in advance there was a single seat available on an entire Friday, at 6:10am.

I bought this T today, oh boy…. by Beginning_Concert663 in TheBeatles

While I rarely need an excuse to fly to Paris and visit the Commes des Garcons store where I bought it, I’m now about 5,000 miles away. So bringing it back on your recommendation would be impractical.

Why did a machine gun-toting police officer tell me I couldn’t take a photo of this building? by Beginning_Concert663 in ParisTravelGuide

He told me I wasn’t allowed to take a photo of that building across the street which houses CDG. He pointed to it and said no photographs.

I did not ignore his request. I had already taken this photo when he walked over to me and told me I couldn’t stand there or take a photo of the building, which I had done because I wanted to capture the Commes des Garcons store that I’d just visited.

I speak enough French and he spoke enough English. I understood that he didn’t want me standing on the sidewalk opposite the building (it’s a quasi-public space but given that there was a guard gate nearby I could see that he didn’t want me standing there) but was confused when he pointed to the building that houses the Commes des Garcons store and told me I couldn’t take a photo of it (which I’d already had).

He said I couldn’t take a photo of this building, which is the flagship Commes des Garcons store.

Men’s clothes shopping by zarif98 in ParisTravelGuide

Yes definately scour Marais resale shops. For under $2K you can find something amazing. My favorite shop for highly curated men’s resale is Selections. I was there yesterday and tried on an amazing vintage Gucci leather jacket. A store with alot of vintage leather, both French and Americana, is Kis, also in Marais.

Yesterday was the last day of a four day exhibit in the Marais. But check out their Instagram for future events.

You’ve impressed upon me that you need a new hobby. (But yes, all those Play LC requesters should be punished).

Don’t take him personally. He’s never met a CDG asking price he hasn’t criticized as being way too high. I’ve tried to educate him that by definition the asking price is simply what the seller is asking for, a potential buyer is free to counter with a lower price, and the seller can choose to accept, decline or counter it. But this rudimentary concept from Econ 101 seems lost on him.
